Day 3 :
Morning After Breakfast Visit Sos Tibetan Children Village, Stok Palace & Museum.
stok Palace & Museum : the Palace of the Banished Royal Family, Stok Has a Museum Which Displays Fabulous Period Costumes and Jewelry of the Royalty Along with Exquisite Thankas Representing the Life Style of Shakya Muni. Interesting Historical Objects like Coins, Armor, Weapons, Precious Jades and Porcelain Too Can Be Seen Here.

Day 4 :
After breakfast proceed for the full day city tour of Leh. Visit Shey, Thiksey and Hemis monastery-one of the largest in Ladakh.
Shey Palace And Gompa : Shey palace with its remarkable statue of Buddha and panoramic views of Indus valley. Situated on a hillock 15 Kms upstream from Leh, it was once the residence of the royal family. According to tradition, it was the seat of power of the pre-Tibetan kinds. A 7.5 mts high copper statue of Buddha, plated with gold and the largest of its kind, is installed here.
Thiksey Gompa : 19 Kms from Leh, spectacularly sited, Thiksey is one of the largest and architecturally most impressive Gompas. There are several temples in this Gompas, containing images, stupas and wall paintings of Buddha, which are exquisite.
Hemis Gompa: It contains a number of gold statues and Stupas decorated with precious stones and a superb collection of Thankas, including one that is the largest in existence. Hemis gompa is believed to have been established in 1630 by Lama Tagstang Raspa and built by Palden Sara under the patronage of King Sengge Namgyal on a site previously sanctified by the construction of a cave hermitage dating from the 12th century. This monastery is the oldest one in the area belonging to the Kargyu school. The Gompa is a unique example of a monastic complex of this period which manifests in its structure the geomantic principles which underlie religious constructions of this type.

Early Morning Depart for Uletokpo. Eroute Visiting Alchi.
alchi Gompa : 70 Kms from Leh, On the Banks of the Indus, is the Alchi Gompa Dating a Thousand Years Back. One of Its Walls Features Thousands of Miniature Sized Pictures of the Buddha. Three Large Sized Images Made of Clay and Painted Brightly are Its Focal Attractions. No Longer An Active Religious Center, It is Looked After By Monks from the Liker Monastery. this is the Only Monastery amongst 34 Monasteries, Which is Not Located On a Hilltop.

Day 6 :
After Breakfast Visit of Lamayuru Monastery After Visit Return to Camp for Lunch.
lamayuru Gompa : the Oldest Holy Site in Ladakh, It Was a Bon Shrine Prior to the Advent of Buddhism. also Known as Yung Drung (swastika) It is Sited On a High Promontory Overlooking the Village and Valley. for Sheer Spectacle Value No other Gompa Can Match Lamayuru.
afternoon Visit Ridzong Monastery, One of the Most Beautiful Monastery of Ladakh Region Build in a Valley a Short Trek to the Monastery After Visit Return to Camp for Overnight Stay.
rizong Monastery: Built By the Great Lama Tsultim Nima, It Dates Back to the Year 1831. Approximately 40 Monks Reside in the Rizong Gompa of Ladakh, Which Belongs to the Tsongkhapa Order. the Successive Reincarnations of Lama Tsultim Nima and His Son, Sras Rinpoche, Serve as the Incumbents of the Monastery. the Inmates of the Rizdong Monastery of Leh Ladakh are Permitted to have Only Religious Robes and Books with Them.

Day 7 :
After Breakfast Departs By Surface for Leh Enroute Stop to Photograph Basgo Monastery and Visit Likir Monastery. Morning After Leisurely Breakfast Drive to Leh, Enroute Visit Alchi and Likir Monasteries. Upon Arrival, Check Into Your Hotel.
basgo Monastery : It is An Ancient Clay Structure, Standing Tall in the Middle of a Fantastic Giant-termite-mound-scape of Wind-eroded Rock. Lonely and Deserted. It’s like a Movie Set Harappan Palace, Mackenna’s Gold with the Temperature and Sunshine Turned Way Down. There’s a Large Statue of the Maitreya, Terracotta Bricks and Walls, Rickety Old Ladders, Parts of that have Been Closed Off as They’re Too Rickety and Eroded for Safe Exploration.
likir Gompa: Founded in the 11th Century and Rededicated to a Different Monastic Order in the 15th Century, Its Earlier Gompa Was Destroyed in a Fire. the Present Gompa Dated Back to the 18th Century. Skilled Craftsmen Producing Excellent Thankas, Earthen Pots and Carved Wooden Folding Stools, Live Here in the Village. Majestically Situated, Likir Commands a Spectacular View. a Magnificent Giant Jupiter Tree, One of the Few Survivors of Its Species, Stands in the Courtyard.

Day 8 :
Morning after breakfast visit Spituk & Phyang monastery. Return to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure for personal activities.
Phiyang Gompa : 17 Kms from Leh on the Leh-Kargil road, it looks like a huge palace from afar, build by Tashi Namgyal in the later half of the 16th century AD, it belongs to the Red Cap sect of Buddhists. Hundreds of icon of Buddha and other gods are kept on wooden shelves.
Continue drive towards Alchi monastery, famous for its massive statues of Buddha, its wood carving and Cashmere wall paintings.
Spituk Monastery: The Spituk Monastery of Ladakh is situated at a distance of approximately 8 km from the town of Leh. Towering over a conical, the 3-chapel monastery dates back to the 11th century, when it was founded century by Od-de, the elder brother of Lha Lama Changchub Od. He was the one to introduce a monastic community here. When a translator, Rinchen Zangpo, came to this place, he said that an exemplary religious community would develop there. This statement led to the naming of the monastery as Spituk, meaning Exemplary.

After Breakfast Departs for Tirit Driving Over the World’s Highest Pass Khardungla 5950 Mts, a Good Two Hours Drive Till the Pass, in Case One is Lucky On a Crystal Clear Sky Gets An Excellent View of Ladakh Range and Karakoram Range. the View from the Top is Simply Amazing. Enter Nubra Valley Situated Along River Shayok. the Valley is Covered with Dense Thickets of Seabuckthorn – a Throny Schurb Which the Villagers Use for Fuel and Fencing Their Fields.

Day 10 :
Morning Departs for Half Day Sightseeing of Hunder & Diskit Monasteries. Visit Deskit, the Hq Town of Nubra Valley. Deskit Can Be Approached By Driving Parallel to Shyok River for 20 Kms. Deskit is Famous for 515 Years Old Buddhist Monastery, Lying Magnificently Situated On a Hilltop, Facing the Entire Valley. Further Drive from Deskit to Hunder, Another 15 – 20 Kms Drive. At Hunder, You May See a Few Double Humped, Hairy and Bactrian Camels.
later Drive Back On the Same Road to Your Camp At Tirith.
afternoons Visit Samstanling Monastery & if Time Permits Visit Hot Sulphur Springs in Panamik.
after Visit Return to Camp for Overnight Stay.

After Breakfast Departs for Leh. Upon Arrival Check Into the Hotel. Rest of the Day At Leisure for Personal Activities.

Day 12 :
After breakfast half-day city tour of Leh visiting Leh palace, Shanker Gompa and Chanspa village. Return to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure for personal activities.
Sankar Gompa & Village : A relatively modern monastery, it is closely associated with the Spituk monastery and served as the residence of the late head priest-Kushak Bakula. A number of gold icons are to be found here.
Shanti Stupa (Japanese Peace Pagoda) : Shanti Stupa/Japanese peace pagoda is build by a Japanese religious organization headed by Head monk Nakamura with the help from the organization and local people. It is situated at a hill top in Cahngspa village providing a bird eye view of the Leh town and the surrounding mountain peaks. Architecturally it has the Japanese touch with small clean rooms on the side for meditators and the main Japanese shrine at the entrance.

Day 13 :
After breakfast drive to Tsomoriri via Mahai Bridge. Upon arrival check into tented camp in Kurzok village 4100 mts.
Evening at leisure for personal activities.

Day 14 :
After breakfast walk around the Tsemorari Lake this area changes its colors as per the weather condition one can see the various species of birds and visit Kurzok Gompa & village.
Tsomoriri or Lake Moriri, in the Changthang (literal meaning, northern plains) area, is a High Altitude Lake (HAL) with an altitude of 4,595 m (15,080 ft) in Ladakh. India and is the largest of the High Altitude Lakes in the Trans-himalayan biogeographic region, entirely within India. It is hemmed between Ladakh in the North and Tibet in the east and Zanskar in the west; the Changthang plateau is the geographical setting with snow peaks that provides the source of water for the Lake. Tsokar Lake is approximately 45 km northwest of the Tsomoriri Lake at a height of 4485 m. It is also called “White Lake” because of the salt deposited.

Day 15 :
After breakfast depart for Leh via Tsokhar & Tanglang-la pass 5320 mts, one may see the wild ass in this region it is known as Changthang region of Ladakh which extends all the way into Tibet.
Upon arrival late in the evening, check into the respective hotel for overnight rest.

Full day free for lesiure activities.

After Early Breakfast Depart for Pangong Lake.
Pangong Tso or Pangong Lake: a Lake in the Himalayas Situated At a Height of About 4,250 M and is 134 Km Long and Extends from India to China. Two Thirds of the Length of this Lake Lies in China. The Lake is 5 Km (3 Mi) Wide At Its Broadest Point.
This Lake is the Highest in Ladakh and is Famous for Colorful Stones and Wild Flowers (in Summer Months).
After Visiting the Lake Return to Leh Late in the Evening for Overnight Rest.

Day 18 :
After breakfast half day city tour of Matho & Stakna monastery.
Matho Monastery: situated on the opposite bank of the Indus across Thiksey, Matho was established in the first half of the 16th century AD and has valuable collection of very old and beautiful Thankhas, some in the form of Mandalas. Its annual festival of Oracles in early march is an important event in Ladakhi religious calendar.
Stakna Gompa: Situated on the right bank of the Indus River, at a distance of approximately 25 km from the town of Leh. The name, ‘Stakna’ literally means ‘tiger’s nose’. The monastery was so named because it was built on a hill, which is shaped just like a tiger’s nose. Stakna Monastery of Leh Ladakh owes its inception to Chosje Jamyang Palkar, the great scholar saint of Bhutan. It formed a part of the many religious estates offered by the Dharmaraja Jamyang Namgial to the saint, around 1580 AD.

Visit Qutab Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, Lakshminarayan Temple, a Modern Hindu Temple, Parliament House, Government Secretarial Building and Connaught Place, the Shopping Centre of New Delhi.
Visit Red Fort, Built in 1648 By Mughal Emperor Shahjehan, Jama Masjid, One of the Largest Mosque of India, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana, the Cremation Sites of Mahatama Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Also Drive Past Chandni Chowk, Shopping Centre of Old Delhi.
