Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi

  Arrival at Delhi. Anand Travel India welcome at the airport and transfer to hotel. Later start your exploration of India with a city tour of Old Delhi that includes visit to Jama Masjid, built in 1650 A.D. and the amazing Red Fort which was the seat of Mughal Empire for more than 250 years. Also enjoy shopping the ancient bazaar of Chandni Chowk. Then drive past the imposing India Gate, Parliament Buildings and President House. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
• Day 2 : Delhi - Kalka - Shimla (By Train - Road)

  Early morning transfer to Railway (BY Road ) station to catch train for Kalka. Arrival at Kalka station and proceed to Shimla, former summer Capital of British India and now a capital of Himachal Pradesh, set amidst the snow capped shivalik mountain ranges offering some stunning views of the mighty Himalayas.
• Day 3 : Shimla

  Morning visit Kufri, a 30 Minutes drive from Shimla, an exotica of nature as a place surrounded by dense forest and snow caped mountains amidst virgin peaks and natures flora and fauna. Later take a walking Shimla Tour and visit Jakhoo hills which offers panoramic view of Shimla town. Overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 4 : Shimla - Manali (265 Km, 7 Hours)

  After breakfast , departure for Manali which is a beautiful hill resort and known for lovely sight scenes, Manali is located at altitude of 1929 Mtrs / 6327 ft above sea level. Arrival at Manali and check in at hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay.
• Day 5 : Manali

  Morning visit 400 years old Pagoda Temple of Hadimba Devi and old Manali to see the Manu temple. Afternoon visit Vaishisht hot sulper spring bath. Overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 6 : Manali - Sarchu (225 Km, 9 Hours)

  Morning leave for Sarchu en-route visiting Rohtang pass (3978 Mtrs). Here, one sees the majesty of the mountains at its height and splendour. Continue drive and reach Keylong, the head district in this area and then continue drive towards Sarchu. Arrive Sarchu and check in camps for overnight stay.

• Day 7 : Sarchu - Leh (255 Km, 10 Hours)

  Leave for Leh Ladakh. Pass through Nakeela and Lachangla Pass 16,617 ft. Continue drive to Leh passing through Skyangchu Thang (Biggest and Highest Plateau on Earth on Stretch of 42 Kms), Tanglang La Pass 17,585ft and Indus Valley. Arrive Leh and check in at hotel for overnight stay.

  • Themes Hill Stations & Valleys
• Day 8 : Leh

  Full day excursion to visit Thiksey and Hemis monasteries. It is quite interesting to visit the Thicksey monastery early in the morning to see praying ceremony. Also visit one of the biggest monasteries of Leh Ladakh “Hemis”. On the way back visit Shey Palace. Overnight stay at hotel.
• Day 9 : Leh - Spituk - Alchi - Uleytokpo ( 80 Km, 3 Hours )

  Morning after breakfast leave for Uletokpo camping which is one of the most beautiful camping in the Ladakh Tour By Road region. En-route visit Spituk Monastery. Continue drive to visit Alchi monastery. It is the only monastery in the Leh Ladakh on flat ground. By the lunch time, you will reach Uletokpo. Overnight stay at camp.

• Day 10 : Uletokpo - Lamayuru - Leh ( 180 Km, 6 Hours)

  In the morning leave for Lamayuru via Khaltsi. The oldest and spectacularly set Lamayuru monastery which was founded in the 10th Century. Late afternoon drive back to Leh Ladakh for overnight stay at hotel.
• Day 11 : Leh - Delhi (By Flight - 1 ¼ Hours)

  Morning transfer to airport to catch flight for Delhi. Arrival at Delhi airport and transfer to hotel. Then start tour of New Delhi which is in complete contrast with Old Delhi with wide tree lined avenues, parks and fountains surrounding the imposing Government and State Buildings. Drive past the imposing India Gate, the Parliament Buildings and President House. Visit Qutab Minar, built in 1193 A.D. It is a striking medieval tower of victory of Persian architecture style. Overnight stay at hotel.
• Day 12 : Delhi

  Transfer to airport to catch flight for onward destination.
