Day 1 : Delhi – Leh
Your amazing trip to Ladakh starts today. Reach Delhi airport and embark on a flight to Leh. Upon arrival, meet our tour representative. After offering a warm welcome, he will assist you with a guided transfer to the pre-decided hotel. Truly enchanting, Leh is one of the destinations that are a must-visit at least once in a lifetime.
After reaching, check-in at the hotel and savor delicious breakfast. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You are free to go out and explore the nearby surroundings. Otherwise, it is suggested that you unwind yourself so as to get acclimatized to the place well. In the evening, visit the markets in Leh to buy souvenirs.

Day 2 : Leh – Alchi – Leh
Day 2 of Ladakh with Himachal tour starts with a hearty breakfast. Thereafter, brace yourself for a road trip to the Sham valley. A trekker’s paradise, the valley ranks amongst the most beautiful places in Leh. Famous for the Sham Valley Trek, the place is a window to the traditions and culture of the Ladakhi villages.
A halt at the Likir Monastery en route will give you a chance to witness a huge statue of Maitreya Buddha. Overlooking the town, the statue presents a sight to behold. The next attraction is the Alchi Monastery where you can marvel at the 1000-year old murals which are reckoned as the best Buddhist miniature paintings. The list of attractions you will be exploring today also includes Hall of Fame – a war memorial dedicated to the soldiers who lost their lives fighting for the country. The last attraction of the day is Magnetic Hill where you can defy the laws of gravity.

Day 3 : Leh – Nubra Valley
Savor hearty breakfast and proceed for the Nubra Valley. The route to the valley takes lets you pass by the Khardung La, one of the high passes in Ladakh. From the top, enjoy the natural beauty of snow-capped mountains. This is followed by an excursion to the Sumoor village. Lying in close proximity to the Nubra Valley, the beautiful hamlet offers ultimate camping experience. You can either stay in a camp here or choose to visit Diskit for the same.

Day 4 : Nubra Valley – Leh
On day 4, get ready to curate memories of a lifetime. The day is reserved to visit quaint villages of Hundar and Diskit. Make the most of your holidays as you indulge in a camel safari (at your own cost) by riding on the back of the Bactrian camel found only in Ladakh. These double-humped camels transform your ride into a memorable affair.
Call it a day and return to the hotel in Leh for a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 5 : Leh – Pangong Lake
Wake up early in the morning as today you are going to treat yourself to the best sights and sounds. Make your way to Pangong Tso via Chang La. Oozing awe-inspiring beauty, the lake is divided by the international border between India and China with only one-third of it lying in India. Home to several migratory birds, the natural wonder presents amazing views of the nearby surroundings and keeps on changing its color throughout the day.
Afterward, complete the check-in formalities at the tented camps in Spangmik village. Or else, if you want, you can return to Tangtse and choose a guest house or a hotel for your comfortable stay.

Day 6 : Pangong – Leh
Start the day leisurely with delicious breakfast. Subsequently, delight in the journey back to Leh leaving behind the stunning Pangong Lake or Tangste Village. Don’t forget to take away with you lots of memories that you created here. Meanwhile, en route, you will come across the Indus River the moment you enter Karu.

Day 7 : Leh – Sarchu
Satiate your hunger with breakfast and head towards Sarchu. A major halt point with tented accommodation, the place is located 222 km away from Leh. You can rest assured of the comfortable accommodations in any of the 15 Royal cottages or 24 Swiss cottages that are available here. Made up of canvas, these cottages block the cold waves and therefore, provide a comfortable ambiance.
There will be a halt at the Upshi village to visit Hemis and Hundur monasteries. Hosting the annual Hemis festival honoring Padmasambhava, the monastery is a gem in the crown of Ladakh. Also known as Hundur Gompa, the Hundur Monastery belongs to the Gelugpa (yellow hat) sect of Tibetan Buddhism.

Day 8 : Sarchu – Jispa – Manali
Munch your breakfast and leave for Manali by road crossing the Baralacha La. Quite popular amongst the bikers, the Baralacha La is a high mountain pass in the Zanskar. Gorge on tasty lunch at Sissu village. Later on, continue your road trip to Manali traversing the Rohtang Pass. After reaching, you can either go out to explore the place on your own or simply sit back to soak in the comforts of your room.

Day 9 : Manali Local sightseeing
Day 9 of your trip comes with lots of surprises. Today you will be embarking on a wonderful sojourn to explore the best places to visit in Manali. The first attraction of the day is Hidimba Devi Temple, an ancient cave temple dedicated to Devi Hidimbi. From there, head towards Jagatsukh, one of the biggest villages in Kullu valley housing many old temples.
Next, you will visit Vashisht Kund, very popular for its hot water sulfur springs. While you are here, don’t forget to take a tour of the Tibetan Monastery. The handicraft center is also worth exploring. Spend your day taking a walk around the Vashisht village.
Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10 : Manali – Shimla
Proceed for Shimla once you’re done with your breakfast. Famous for its Kalka-Shimla Railway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the city is blissful beyond description. After reaching, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel and relax for a while.
Afterward, you will go on a sightseeing tour. The exciting trip starts with Jakhoo Temple, the ancient shrine is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The next attraction on the list is Dorje Drak Monastery, the picturesque gompa is a treat to the sore eyes. From there, head towards the Chadwick Falls, a picturesque waterfall tucked beautifully amidst the Glen Forests. Call it a day at the Tara Devi Temple, a holy place dedicated to the Goddess of stars.

Day 11 : Shimla
The day is reserved to partake in a number of amazing things to do in and around Shimla. Start your day with an outing to Kufri. Perched on an elevation of about 8923 foot above sea level, the place remains thronged with snow lovers. Tourists pay a visit to enjoy adventure activities like skiing, trekking or hiking. After enjoying to your heart’s content, head towards Mall Road and the Ridge in Shimla. In addition, you can explore the Christ Church and State Library.

Day 12 : Shimla – Chandigarh
Your Ladakh with Shimla tour ends today. Savor breakfast and head towards Chandigarh. Avail the guided transfer to the airport or railway station to board a flight or train for your onward journey.
