On this road trip starting Srinagar, we take you on an epic road trip covering the iconic destinations in Ladakh!

Tso Moriri - The lesser known but far more beautiful lake compared to Pangong Tso. Indulge in bird sightings galore and even night photography!

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival

  Land in Srinagar. Get into the vehicle we have waiting for you at the airport and proceed to Sonamarg. Relax in Sonamarg
• Day 2 : Sonamarg

  Make an early exit from Sonamarg to cross Zozi La. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the drive, as we also cross Baltal, the starting point for the Amarnath yatra. We reach Alchi the same day after visiting the Lamayuru Monastery, Zanskar confluence and the highest motor able pass on the Srinagar - Leh highway - Fotu La. You would also be seeing the War Memorial on the way near Drass.
• Day 3 : Leh

  Exit Alchi and head to Leh. Reach around noon to comfortably checkin. The day can be used to explore the markets in Leh, and indulge in some thukpa and traditional Ladakhi cuisine.
• Day 4 : Leh

  Visit the Shey monastery and the Ladakh Palace. If time permits, you can visit Shanti Stupa at night time. This is also the day when we arrange all the inner line permits for you.
• Day 5 : Leave for Turtuk

  Leave as early as possible to head to Turtuk via the Khardung La - Highest all weather motor able road in the world. Reach Turtuk in the late afternoon. It is a remote village of about 4,000 residents, inhabited by ethnic Muslims, a few kilometres from the 'line of control' between India and Pakistan, on the Indian side. Until 1971 a part of Baltistan, shared strong economic and cultural ties with Tibet. The residents speak Baltistani, and some Ladakhi and English.
• Day 6 : Head towards Hunder, Nubra Valley

  This is a wonderful leg of the journey. Reach early so as to enjoy a ride on the famous two humped camel (Bactrian camel). Watch the sunset at the sand dunes, and photographers can indulge in some great photography!
• Day 7 : We head to the famous Pangong Tso lake from Hunder

  The idea would be to reach Pangong Tso as early as possible. This is a great spot for night photography as well. This is the lake made famous by the Amir Khan Movie - 3 idiots. Soak in the sheer beauty of this lake, much of which lies in China! Say hello to our neighbors.
• Day 8 : Drive towards Tso Moriri Lake

  Drive towards Tso Moriri Lake via the Chushul sector. One needs to be careful here, but we're there. Don't worry!
  You'll notice that Tso Moriri Lake is a more serene lake compared to Pangong Tso.
• Day 9 : Head back to Leh

  Take some rest because the journey back will be tiring!
• Day 10 : Reach Kargil

  This is a wonderful journey in Reach Kargil
• Day 11 : Srinagar

  Reach Srinagar and checkin to a house boat.

  Explore Srinagar and indulge in the famous Wazwan meal for the kings!
• Day 13 : Depature

  Fly out of Srinagar with sweet memories
