Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival

Arrive at Chandigarh railway station/ airport & leave for Shimla / Narkanda. En-route visits Pinjore garden if time permits. Shimla one of the beautiful & world-famous hill stations, an evening stroll around Mall road and ridge of your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 : Shimla – Sarahan [175 Kms 7hrs]

After Breakfast leave for Sarahan. En-route visit Kufri & Fagu valley welcome you with the great view of the Himalayan range. few photo clicks leave to Narkanda beautifully located with thick woods, the majestic view of Hatu Peak. O/N stay.

Day 3 : Sarahan – Sangla Rakchham [110 Kms 5hrs]

Before breakfast visit to Bhimakali Temple during puja. It is revered as one of the fifth one Shaktipeeth. Leave for beautiful Sangla valley. Enroute Trandha maa temple known for its sheer drop. A journey from Karcham onwards is enjoyable and adventurous throughout the valley. The natural scenery all around and the eternal snow view are picturesque & charming. This is the most charming valley in the entire District of Kinnaur. It is also known as Baspa valley since Baspa River flows through this valley. Explore the vicinity around including an ancient Kamro Fort & Temple dedicated to Nages God. Leave to Rakchham village. O/N at Hotel Rupin River View.

Day 4 : Rakchham – Chitkul

Hotel Rupin River View is located at an altitude 3050mts, just on the Right Bank Of River Baspa which offer you the spectacular view of entire valley with Baspa river flowing in its pristine glory , fields with apple orchards & buckwheat along with the mountain slopes, dense forest with alpine & coniferous trees & towering snow capped Himalayan peaks on the top. It is an area even today untouched and unspoiled. On the other side, there is a totally opposite scene. High, rugged, totally naked snow-capped peak, along With Great Kinner Kailash.When you sit by the river and admire the beauty of Rakchham is completely another world. I would say, you would have never seen this kind of creation of extraordinary beauty in your life. This place is a paradise for trekking, bird-watching, professional photographer and the extreme condition for the rock climber. The hotels offer different kinds of trips to the upper pasture land. Day 5 : Sangla – Kalpa [70 Kms 4 hrs]

The morning after breakfast leave to Kalpa via Reckong Peo short stop to explore market famous for its dry fruit & local woolen clothes,en-route visit Koti Mata Temple. Arrival at Hotel Most of the Hotel rooms facing Jorkanden & The Kinner Kailash Peaks, considered as one of the mythical homes of Lord Shiva & by its side is a seventy-nine-foot rock formation that resembles a Shivalinga that changes the color as the day passes & is visible to the naked eye on a clear day.O/N stay.

Day 6 : Kalpa – Around

After the Breakfast visit, Rogi Village known for its sheer drop locally called a suicide point. Then to Chini village which has an ancient temple & monastery. Afternoon again you have an opportunity to enjoy the mystical beauty of great Kinner Kailash .O/N stays at a hotel.

Day 7 : Kalpa – Nako – Tabo [200 Kms 8hrs]

After breakfast leave for Tabo, En-route Nako Lake, this is one of Kinnaur‘s most picturesque hamlets, Nako is slated to be declared a heritage village built around a small lake & has an important Buddhist Gompa & small temples. After Early lunch for Gui Village, famous for its mummy 500 to 600years old. O/N at Tabo.

Day 8 : Tabo – Kaza [80 Kms 5hrs]

Tabo is one of the most important monasteries, not just in Spiti but in the whole of the Tibetan Buddhist world. Tabo holds the distinction of being the largest monastic complex in Spiti constructed in996 AD. En route Dhankar Gompa. O/n Kaza.

Day 9 : Kaza – Kee / Kibber

After breakfast leave for Kaza sightseeing by visiting ki monastery & gate village [Highest Motorable Connected Road in the world & Kibber Village for the ancient monastery built on what is believed to be have been a crater of an extinct Volcano.

Day 10 : Kaza – Chandertal /Batal/ Loasr 100 Kms 6hrs

The morning after breakfast leave for Chandertal lake over Kunzam Pass [15100ft.] Magnificent View of CB Ranges Peak .reach Batal, 2km before Roads bifurcates to Chandertal Lake. This deep blue water has a Circumference of 2.5 Kms. Enjoy the beauty of the beautiful lake & natural surrounded snow peaks. Nowadays camping is banned here nearby by the lake. Back to Batal. O/N camp.

Day 11 : Chandertal – Keylong 90 Kms

After breakfast Leaving the fresh memories of barren Spiti valley we will now be traveling to the greener belt of the valley – Lahaul. Leave for a nice long drive along the Chandra River, Which Later becomes the Chandra Bhaga at the confluence in Tindi Bridge. The Landscape is barren all around while the Valley Floor is lush green with fields of Barley, Potato and Hops fringed with trees of willow & Poplar En-route stop a tiny hamlet of Chattru for refreshment, some breathtaking views of Sissu waterfall and Gondola. O/N Keylong.

Day 12 : Keylong – Triloknath –Udeypur – Keylong 150 km

Trilokinath is the most revered temple both by Tibetan Buddhists and Hindus. It is built in early 10 century according to a stone inscription found in the temple recently. The six armed marble statue inside the temple is revered as Avalokiteshwar by Buddhists and Shiva by Hindus. You will be driving through the most fertile valley of Lahaul ( Pattan Valley) and in approx 3 hours time you will reach Trilokinath temple. Further, you will be visiting Mrikula Devi temple dedicated to Goddess Kali and is believed to have constructed in the 11th Century. The temple was constructed from a block of wood by the Pandavas during Mahabharat time. Return back to Keylong for an overnight stay.

Day 13 : Keylong – Manali 120 km 7hrs

After Breakfast drive over Rothang La 13050ft. Reach Manali by afternoon after a long journey. O/N Manali.

Day 14 : Manali – Around - Manali

Today you will make a late start after a leisurely breakfast . We will visit old Manali Vilage, Hadimba Devi Temple and vashist village [with hot water springs]. Later on, we will drive to visit Nager Castle and Village. After visiting drive back to Manali. The evening free to explore the Manali Market & finish with your final shopping for this trip. O/N Manali.
