Day 1 : Delhi
Arrival at Delhi by International Airport, you will be escorted by our representative to hotel for check in.
Day 2 : Delhi
After breakfast take sightseeing tour of visiting old Delhi.
Sightseeing of Old and New Delhi :
Morning sightseeing of Old Delhi will entail a visit to Raj Ghat-memorial site of Mahatma Gandhi, Jama Masjid-the largest mosque of India and the Red Fort-the most lavish Palace of Mughal Empire.
New Delhi: take an extensive visit to Humayun’s Tomb, The Qutub Minar, India Gate, Parliament House, and Lotus Temple.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 : Delhi / Nagpur / Kanha National Park
Catch an early morning flight to Nagpur. At Nagpur almost 5 hours drive will take you to Kanha National Park. The park is located at Mandla District in Madhya Pradesh. The park spreads over 1,945 sq.km in dense Sal forests and interspersed with extensive meadows and trees and wild bamboo. On arrival check in at hotel Tuli Resort.
Day 4 : Kanha National Park
Kanha National Park is a honey pot for wildlife enthusiasts all over the world. The park consists of verities of faunas including Sambar, Barasingha, Cheetal, Black Duck, and Gaur, Barking Deer, Hog Deer, Boar, Tiger, Chausingha, Bison, Hyena, Wild Dog and Leopard. Shravantal is an old tank in the central Kanha meadows, which is an important watering hole, for a large number of water fowl in winter.
Months from February to June are best for visiting the park.Overnight at the Tuli Resort.
Day 5 : Kanha / Bandhavgarh (approx 8 hours)
We will speed up to Bandhavgarh a small National Park which is known for having abundance of tigers. The entire park is covered in the area of 106 square kilometers. The park is mainly consists of Sal forests, also main tree-cover found in the entire park along with Bamboo. Some of the faunas that the park includes are Nilgai, Chausingha, Chital, Chinkara, Wild Boar and Fox or Jackal. On arrival check in at Royal Tiger Resort.
Day 6 : Bandhavgarh
Morning and afternoon Jeep Safari into the National Park.
Bandhavgarh is abundant with faunas like the great gaur or Indian bison. They can be easily spotted as they come onto the meadows to graze at dusk. Sambar and barking deer are a common sight and nilgai can be spotted in the open areas in the park. Other species that you can spot here include Paradise fly catchers, Peacock, Golden, Jungle Fowl and Black headed Orioles, Red-vented Bulbuls, Yellow Ioras, Purple Sunbirds, Blue Jays, Green Barbets and Mynahs.
Overnight at the Royal Tiger Resort.
Day 7 : Bandhavgarh / Agra
Morning Jeep Safari into the Park
In the evening transfer to Umaria railway station to board overnight train to Agra at 2025 hrs. (Breakfast)
Day 8 : Agra
On arrival in Agra at 0920 hrs, transfer to the hotel Clarks Shiraz.
Agra city stands on the bank of Yamuna River and is famous for having magnificent medieval monuments.
In the afternoon proceed to visit the Taj Mahal, the world’s most outstanding monument. The Taj Mahal was constructed by Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife - Queen Mumtaj Mahal. The completion of the Taj took 22 years and the labor of 20,000 workers. This extravagant monument of love is inlaid by white marble structure with precious and semi precious stones.
Note: Taj Mahal remains closed on Friday
Day 9 : Agra / Bharatpur
After breakfast drive to Bhatarpur.
On the way we visit Fatehpur Sikri a 40 km drive from Agra. The city was built by Akbar in the 16th century and served as his empire’s capital from 1571 until 1585 when it was abruptly abandoned mysteriously.
Moving ahead we find Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary or Keoladeo Ghana National Park. The park proudly boasts of having rare and highly endangered birds such as the Siberian crane which visit in the winter season. The park is a major tourist center for many ornithologists who visit this park during hibernal season. Now the park is declared as World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. Some species of birds that can be spotted in this park are Storks, Egrets, Chinese Coots, Ducks, Spoonbills, Kingfishers, Birds of Prey, Sarus Cranes, Eagle and Marsh Harrier. Some wild animals such as Nilgai, Hyenas, Deer, Chital and Wild Boar can also be spotted in the park.
In the afternoon Rickshaw ride in Sanctuary. After visiting the bird sanctuary drive to Pehrassar for an overnight stay at Chandra Mahal Haveli.
Day 10 : Bharatpur / Ranthambore (8 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Ranthambhore.
Nestled in the Aravallis hills, Ranthambhore is one of the finest tiger reserves in India. Apart from that, the park is a home to a variety of flora and fauna. Some of the wild animals that the park accommodates are Tiger, Leopard, Nilgai, Dhole, Wild Boar, Sambar, Hyena, Sloth Bear and Chital. Ranthambore is also the site for one of the largest banyan trees in India.
Overnight stay at the Ranthambhore Regency.
Day 11 : Jaipur
After breakfast, visit the Amber Fort in the Aravali Hills. An elephant ride takes you to the top of the Fort and main entrance of the fort, which houses several graceful buildings. In the afternoon visit the City Palace and Observatory. The City Palace is a blend of Rajasthan and Mughal architecture.
Day 12 : Jaipur / Delhi (260 kms / 6 hrs)
Morning is free. In the afternoon drive back to Delhi. On arrival check in at hotel Ashok Country Resort. (Breakfast)
Day 13 : Delhi / Europe
Stay at the hotel till 12noon. Transfer to International airport to board flight for onward journey.
