We head out towards the 11th century archaeological site at Vang Xang. On the way we briefly call at Thalat to visit the colourful market. We will pass through Kasi and Phoukhoune and finally on to Luang Prabang. Claimed by UNESCO to be the “best preserved city in Southeast Asia”, its gleaming temples and colonial architecture have remained unchanged for years. Monks in traditional dress hurry about carrying umbrellas to shade themselves from the midday sun. You will stay overnight in this fascinating town courtesy of your Laos holiday package.
Day 4 : Luang Prabang – City Tour – Kuang Sii Falls

We find time to visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun, the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Sene and Wat Mai with its five tiered roof. After taking lunch we will drive 30 km South to Kuang Sii Waterfall. This beautiful area is in the heart of the National Park. On the way we go to see the most famous hill-tribe people in Laos, the Hmong at Ban Na Oune.
