Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival at NJP and transfer to Chilapata 150 kms (3 hours)

Arrive at NJP and board the awaiting vehicle. Drive through Dooars crossing the forests of Gorumara, Chapramari and Jaldapara to reach Chilapata forests. Chilapata is a forest that connects two famous forests of North Bengal, Jaldapara and Buxa. Check in your forest resort. Overnight at Chilapata.
Day 2 : Jeep Safari inside Chilapata forests

Early morning safari inside forest in forest department approved jeep, you will be visiting forest villages such as Kodalbasti and CC line and will be taken to the banks of river Torsa riverbed. (The forest safari is to be arranged by the guests directly by paying additional amount to forest department. Our vehicle will not be allowed to enter the forest. Cost of forest safari is not included in this package).

Visit Jaldapara / Buxa. Post lunch travel to Madarihat (30 kms, 45 minutes). From here you may take a Jeep safari inside Jaldapara forests (self arranged at an additional cost in forest department approved vehicle). Return to Chilapata in the evening. Overnight at Chilapata.

Optional Tours : Alternatively you may visit Rajabhatkhawa inside Buxa Tiger Reserve (45 kms, 1.5 hours). Here you may visit the nature interpretation or take a walk around the forest. You may also visit the local Rava handloom weaving centre.
Day 3 : Drive to NJP / Bagdogra for onward / return journey

Morning free for packing. Return to NJP / Bagdogra in 1.5 hrs approx. Our car will drop you at the rail station / Airport. Tour Ends
