Day 1 : Arrival Leh
On arrival at Leh Airport, meet & greet by our Executive & transfer you to Hotel. Full day rest in hotel to adjust your self with the high altitude atmosphere of Leh. Over Night Stay & Dinner in hotel in Leh.
Day 2 : Leh Local Sight Seeing
Hemis Monastery & Museum-45 Kms from Leh on Leh-Manali road, Is the biggest monastic institution in Ladakh region .It belongs to Drukpa lineage or Dragon order of mahayana Buddhism.
Thiksey Monastery-20 Kms- from Leh on Leh- Manali road, thiksey monasetry built on a hill. Here you will see 15 mtrs tall gold covered statue of maiterya the future Buddha
Shey Palace-- built in 1655 AD by King Deldan Namgyal was the summer capital of Ladakh in the past. This monastery is famous for the Gaint statue of Shakyamuni Buddha built in copper with gilded gold Indus (Sindhu) Ghat-Here the “Sindhu Darshan" or Sindhu festival aims at projecting the Indus as the symbol of India's unity & communal harmony celebrated every year for three days in the month of july.This festival usually begins on full moon day which is also termed as 'Guru Purnima".Sindhu festival is also celebrated to pay the homage to brave soliders who sacrificed their lives on the border of India.
Stok Palace & Museum-14 kms from Leh is the major tourist attraction build in 1825 AD by King Tsespal Tondup Namgyal. It is the striking palace where ancient & modern architectures meet together & makes it beautiful. Here you see the royal family's
ceremonial dresses, crowns, centurious old pieces of jewellery & many more. over night stay & dinner in the hotel
Day 3 : Leh - Alchi - Leh (140 Kms)
After breakfast leave for Alchi to visit the 11th centuary monastery,oldest surviving monastic complex of Ladakh and famous for its paintings and architecture. After sight seeing and lunch here drive back toward Leh. En-route visit especially the Temple of Paldan Lhamo (Female Dharampala of Buddhist pantheon) which is revered by Hindu devotees as "Kali-Ka-Mandir". Return back to Leh for over night stay & dinner in the hotel.
Day 4 : Leh - Pangong Lake - Leh ( 145 Kms )
After early breakfast proceed for Pangong lake. Pangong lake can be reached in a five hours journey from leh,most of it on rough & dramatic mountain road.After crossing the villages of Shey & Gya you will reach at the height of 17586 ft (Changla Pass ) here army sentries,small tea house & restaurants greet you. Road down Changla Pass leads through the crossing river called Pagal Naala or ‘The Crazy Stream”took you to the Pangong lake.An inner line permit is required to visit the lake as it lies on Sino-Indian line of actual control. Over night stay & dinner in hotel in Leh.
Day 5 : Leh Nubra Valley (125 Kms)
Nubra Valley is popularly known as valley of flowers & is situated to the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram & Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. After early breakfast proceed for Nubra valley through Khardungla pass,after 39 Kms drive from Leh you will reach on Khardungla (18380 Ft ) highest motorable road in the world. Stop a while here for photographs than proceed for Diskit through village Khalsar which is 56 Kms from here. After a drive of four hours you will be in Diskit, check in hotel for over night stay in Diskit.
After freshup proceed for Hunder which is 7 Kms from Diskit, to visit the sand Dunes & enjoy the camel ride (9 am to 12 noon & 3 pm to 6 pm ) on double neck camels of south east asia. over night stay & dinner in hotel in Diskit.
Day 6 : Diskit - Leh (125 Kms)
After early breakfast proceed for leh by the same route, on the way visit the Diskit monastery which was build on 14 monestary. Diskit monestary lies at the top oh hill near shyok river. Here you see the 32 mtrs tall statue of Future Buddha which faces towards shyok river. Reach Leh in afternoon check in the hotel for over night stay in Leh.After rest for couple of hours proceed for Leh sight seeing & shopping.
Leh Palace-Former residence of Ladakh royal family build by King Sengge Namgyal in 16th centuary.Later it was abandoned when Dogra forces took control of Ladakh in the mid 19th century. The royal family moved to Stok Palace. This 9 stories building still look fantastic.
Shanti Stupa-Build by Japenese buddhist in 1985.
