Day 1 : Delhi - Leh
On arrival at Leh airport pickup to hotel. Check in to the hotel. Today visit local sightseeing of Leh visiting Shey,Thikse, Shanti Stupa, Magnetic Hills, Leh Palace, Namgyal-Tsemo Monestry,Hall of Fame etc. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 : Leh - Alchi - Likhir-Uletokpo - Khalsi - Lamayuru - Leh
Full day for local sightseeing, Lamayuru: after exploring the villages around area, it comes as a surprise to find that Lamayuru is a scruffy little place. The Gompa is completely over shadowed and most famous spectacular monastery in Ladakh. Alichi and Likir monasteries: These two monasteries are located near Saspol on the Sri Nagar - Leh road. They house many gigantic clay statue of Buddha in various forms. The primary attraction of these monasteries is - however there 1000 year old wall painting which make the visit more than worthwhile.

Day 3 : Leh - Khardung-la -Nubra Valley (125km / 4-5 hrs)
Early morning, drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung-la Pass which is situated at a height of 18360 ft and considered as the highest motor able pass of the world. In the afternoon, explore Hunder & Diskit monasteries and white sand dunes via camel safari. The safari tour is done with double humped camels that are found only in Nubra Valley.
Stay overnight at the Deluxe Camp/Hotel.
Day 4 : Nubra Valley - Leh (155 kms / 5-6 hrs)
Following the Samstanling Monastery tour in the morning, you will drive back to Leh via Khardung la Pass. In the evening, explore the local bazaars (markets) of Leh. One can purchase shopping items such as Pashmina shawls, Chinese cutleries, good pearls and Ladakhi woolen handicrafts. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 5 : Leh - Chang - La paas - Pangong Lake (135 km / 4400m)
A full day tour of Pangong Lake. The Pangong Lake is around 135 kilometers away from Leh and situated at an elevation of 4,400 meters. En route, cross Chang-la pass and drive through Durbuk and Tangtse village situated in the Changthang region of Ladakh.
In the afternoon, explore the lake and its surroundings. A tour of the local village will enable cultural insight into Leh.Stay overnight at the tented camp.
Day 6 : Pangong - Leh
During early morning, you can enjoy a photo-session around the lake. Post breakfast, drive back to Leh. An optional tour of Hemis Monastery (5 kilometer away from Leh near Kharu) is also on the cards. Hemis is the largest and richest monastery complex in Ladakh. Drive back to Leh by noon. In the afternoon, enjoy a shopping tour in the local markets of Leh.
Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 7 : Local sightseeing
Leh bazaar, Leh Palace and sankar gompa, the woman’s vegetable market in the afternoon and some interesting place to visit and evening the Sankar monastery.
Leh gompa: it is situated above the leh palace and was built in 1430. it contains a 13.7 meters high statue of Buddha which the ladalhi call chamba. According to the lamas this splendid statue is the future Buddha. A butter burns day and night in front of this statue.
Sankar gompa: just 03 kilometers from Leh is the monastery that has a formidable collection of miniature of pure gold and a number of exciting paintings. It is well lit and may be visited in the evening as well.
Day 8 : Leh - Tsomoriri / Korzok (15070 ft. / 220 kms.)
Early departure for Tsomo-riri Lake (alt: 15,000 ft.) driving through Chumathang (hot springs), Mahe and Puga Sumdo. Tsomoriri Lake (28 km long & about 8 km wide) is the breeding ground of many migratory birds including the rare bar-headed geese. Dinner & overnight in fixed camp or Guest House.
Day 9 : Tsomoriri - Tsokar - Taglangla-Leh (17582 ft.)-Leh-approx 200 kms)
After breakfast retrace the route down to Puga Sumdo and then follow the road across the Polokongka Pass (4920 mtrs) to visit Tsokar Lake, a salt lake system in the Rupsho plateau which is home of the Changa nomads and support many rare wild life species. After sightseeing of the area take the Manali-Leh road to return to Leh, crossing Taglang-la (alt: 17,585ft) en- route. Arrive hotel in Leh for dinner and overnight.
Day 10 : Departure Leh
Leave on time for Leh airport to board your flight back home
