Day 1 : Rajkot - Gir (170 Km)
On arrival at the railway station take a transfer to Gir. Upon arrival check into hotel, rest of the day at leisure followed by comfortable overnight stay at the hotel in Gir.
Day 2 : Gir
Today, after breakfast, proceed to the world famous Gir National Park - the home of the Great Asiatic Lion. Check-in to the Gir Birding Lodge. You may enjoy an exciting jungle Safari in Gir National Park to catch a glimpse of the Asiatic lions, leopards, spotted deer’s and various species of birds. Return to the hotel in Gir for an overnight stay.
Day 3 : Gir
After breakfast go for sightseeing and visit Kamleshwar Dam, Durbar Hall Museum, explore the local market. Stay overnight in the comfort of your hotel.
Day 4 : Gir - Somnath (40 Km)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Somnath. On arrival check into hotel, visit the Somnath Temple. You may also attend the evening aarti, or sound and light show in the Somnath Temple premises. The Somnath temple is one of the twelve most sacred shrines dedicated to the Lord Shiva. The temple contains the jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva. The Somnath temple was rebuilt and destroyed eight times. This temple was finally rebuilt in 1950 with the support of Sardar Vallabhabhai Patel. The current temple was built as per the traditional designs on the original site by the sea and is a serene, symmetricla and sinuous structure. Today, this majestic temple is a replica of the earlier temple. Have dinner and stay overnight in Somnath.
Day 5 : Somnath
After breakfast, visit Rudresvara Temple, Bhalka Tirth and Prabas Pata Museum. At Bhalka Tirth, the Lord Krishna was mistaken for a deer and wounded by an arrow. Stay overnight at the hotel in Somnath.
Day 6 : Somnath - Diu (50 Km)
After breakfast check out off the hotel and proceed to Diu. Upon arrival, check into resort. Diu is famous for its beaches, Nagerseth Havelis and spectacular churches. Visit Gangeshwar Temple, Panikotha, Diu Fort, Churches of Diu. Spend the rest of the day at leisure with beach sidewalks and other water sport activities. Stay overnight in the comfort of your resort.
Day 7 : Diu
Full day at leisure. Stay overnight in the comfort of your resort.
Day 8 : Diu - Rajkot (220 Km)
After breakfast leave for Rajkot railway station to catch your train back home with sweet memories of Gujarat.
