The Pakistani society comprises diverse cultures and ethnic communities, including Punjabi, Sindhi, Baloch, Pashtun, Seraiki, Mohair, Kashmiri, Makrani, and the ancient Wakhi and Burusho groups in the north. Our Long Classical Tour will take you on a journey unlike any other. You will experience the diversity in cultural heritage that Pakistan has to offer. This tour has many exciting experiences that will take you from the Great Golden Mosques of Lahore to the modern city Islamabad and the Khunjerab Pass (world’s highest paved border), high in the mountains between Pakistan and China. Influences from the Mughul and the British empires are present throughout Pakistan; you will see how these influences have merged into a unique and diverse country. You will have a chance to explore the northern mountain villages where you will meet the legendary people of Brushu (Hunzais). You will experience the northern people’s innocence, strong hospitality, and friendliness, which they are well known for. This tour allows guests to have an eye-opening experience that goes beyond what most people think of when Pakistan comes to mind.

Day 1 : Islamabad – Lahore:
Arrival at Islamabad International airport.
Welcome reception and drink will be served at airport
Leave Islamabad airport towards Dina at GT Road, breakfast will be served at restaurant” Dina.
After breakfast, drive half an hour to Rohtas Fort (8km away from main GT road).
Leave around 10:00 am toward Lahore and check in the hotel at 01:00.
2 hours relax/rest and around 03:00 pm drive to Shalimar garden.
Drive to Wagha border (Pak-India) to witness flag lowering ceremony.
Evening witnessing of Quawalli music and Sufi Dervishes
Drive back to Lahore for the overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 : Lahore
Full day city tour of Lahore (the cultural city of Pakistan)
Morning around 07:30 am, visit Badshahi Mosque, Lahore Fort, Sikh temple (optional).
Then walk in the old town starting from Badshahi Mosque, in the town we will visit old bazaar, Golden Mosque & Wazir Khan Mosque, finishing at Delhi Gate.
Afternoon drives back to Mall Road for exploring the charm of British finest colonial buildings.
Late afternoon, visit Jahangir’s Tomb.
Dinner will be served at Coco Restaurant and drive back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 3 : Lahore – Khewra Salt mines – Islamabad
Morning drive 2.5 hrs on Motorway to Khewra Salt Mines (the 2nd largest mines in the world).
In the afternoon leave for Islamabad (2.5 hours drive). Late afternoon
Late afternoon till evening short tour of Islamabad includes Faisal Mosque, Pakistan monuments, and Raja Bazaar. Dinner will be served at the hotel
Day 4 : Islamabad – Chilas
Morning drive 14-15 hours to Chilas by coach
En route stop at chatar plain for toilet and tea break, stop at shatial rock carving if passed by daytime.
Transfer to the hotel late night and dinner will be served
Day 5 : Chilas – Gilgit – Karimabad, Hunza
At 6 O’clock leave for Gilgit and en route stop will be Chilas rock carving, Nanga Parbat viewpoint and junction points of world highest mountain ranges and river Indus & Gilgit.
Afternoon till sunset visit of Gilgit town includes Kargha Buddha, old market.
Then drive 4.5 hrs to Hunza, for sure check inn will be around 9.5 to 10 pm.
Dinner & overnight stay in Karimabad.
Day 6 : Karimabad, Hunza:
Early morning Duikar village for sunrise
Than 8’ o’clock go for hopar village and walk along the side of hopar glacier.
Afternoon return back to Karimabad, visits of Altit & Baltit Forts
Late afternoon start water channel walk.
Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7 : Karimabad – Attabad Lake – Sost – Khunjerab Pass – Passu:
Morning leave around 06:30 to world highest paved border Khunjerab (Pakistan & China)
Keep in mind en route, we will have to cross the lake by boats in 1.5 to 2 hours at place Attabad.
After spending an hour at top return back to Passu for dinner & overnight stay.
Day 8 : Passu – Karimabad:
Leave around 06:30 for Passu suspension bridge (optional for those who want)
The coach will pick those clients who don’t want to walk on Passu suspension bridge and will join you around 09:15 with other members.
Continue easy (4 hours) walk will take us to Borit Lake. (Here elder people can have straight drive to Borit Lake by coach).
Afternoon goes for Karimabad after crossing Attabad Lake by boats.
Dinner & overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 9 : Karimabad – Raikot – Fairy Meadows:
Early morning around 06:30 am leaves by coach for Raikot, en route we will stop at the junction point of 3 highest mountain ranges (Himalaya, Karakorum & Hindukush) and Nanga Parbat (8126m).
Afternoon rides 1.5 hours on a 4×4 jeep to Tato Village.
3 hours easy hike up to Fairy Meadows.
Evening walk around the meadows. Dinner & overnight stay will be at the cottage.
Day 10 : Fairy Meadows – Raikot – Chilas:
Early morning sunrise photography + hike up to the viewpoint (optional for those who want) of Massive Nanga Parbat (Naked or Killer Mountain) and then we will retrace our footsteps down to KKH and continue drive to Chilas.
En route we will stop at Chilas Rock carving.
Dinner & overnight stay will be at Shangri-la hotel.
Day 11 : Chilas – Shatial – Besham:
Leave around 7 o’clock towards Babusar Pass (4300m), en route there will be stops from the breathtaking landscape of Babusar Village and far eastern Nanga Parbat peak (if weather permit).
From the top we will continue our drive to Naran (the land of lakes & greenery), en route we will stop at Lalusar Lake and some breathtaking photogenic points for photography.
02:00 to 02:30 pm check in at the hotel.
Around 02:30 pm departure for Saiful Maluk Lake by 4×4 jeeps, optional for boating & horse riding.
Back to hotel for Dinner & overnight stay.
Day 12 : Naran – Taxila – Islamabad:
06:30 am departure for Taxila and drive will be around 05 to 06 hours.
Afternoon start visit of Taxila archeological ruins includes Mahumorado, Museum, Julian, and Sirkap.
05: 30 pm leave for Islamabad.
Dinner will be served at Margalla hills (the foothills of Himalaya).
Back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 13 : Fly back✈: Depart from Islamabad.
From peace and serenity of Mountains of Pakistan to the hustle and bustles of “modern” trends, you say Khuda Hafiz, the typical farewell, as you depart after a tour into Shangri-La. End of the tour.
