Package Overview

Patalkot is a deep valley, hidden in the Satpura ranges. It is believed that there is a long tunnel between Panchmarhi (Queen of Satpuras) and Patalkot, which was built during the 18th century by the ruling kings. The area is rich in natural resources, however its biggest wealth is the natural beauty. TPatalkot is famous for the many medicinal uses of the local flora. The local tribes who have lived here for years, are oblivious to the outside world.

The entire region is most famous for the deepest point known to man, which is considered equivalent to the height of Empire State Building. This fact is unverifiable but it does intrigue travelers. You can take a dip in a nearby perennial waterfall and just relish the quiet moments in the middle of nowhere. The most interesting part of the trip is the interaction with the Gond and Bharia tribes. The people have managed to retain their original culture and customs since eons. They have forged deep bonds with the forests around them and each other, to survive and flourish.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival

  Start from Bhopal and reach the destination by 11:00 am.
  Begin trek to a perennial waterfall. Have lunch by the waterfall
  Start trek from the waterfall to reach campsite in the evening and enjoy the sunset,
  Barbecue and dinner (Veg and Non Veg)
• Day 2 : Traditional Folk Dance

  Head out towards a local village post Breakfast where our trek will commence.
  Interaction with the local tribes and an authentic tribal lunch. Camp at a new location on the edge of a cliff, overlooking a valley.
  Traditional folk dance by the local people will be the night’s entertainment followed by Barbeque and Dinner (veg and non-veg).
• Day 3 : Departure

  Head back to Bhopal by Lunchtime
