• Day 1 : Delhi / Srinagar

  Meet upon arrival at Srinagar airport and transfer to Hotel
  After fresh up at Houseboat proceed for sightseeing of Mughal gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure), built by Asif Khan brother-in-law of Jehangir in 1632 AD, Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. These beautiful mountains are situated on the bank of Dal Lakewith the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. Distance from Srinagar to the said gardens is about 12 and 15 kms respectively. Enroute, visit a carpet weaving factory.

  After breakfast, leave for full day excursion of Sonamarg “Meadows of Gold” which is one of the most beautiful drives from Srinagar. (84 Km/2 ½ hrs/). Sonamarg is located at a height of 2690 meters. You may take a pony ride (at your own cost) to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year. It serves as the base for the treks to Harmukh range via Nichnai,Vishensar Lake, Gangabal and to Nara Nag .This place is famous for Trout fishing.
