Day 1 : Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta
On this day you will be met at airport by one of our staff, be transferred to the Nairobi hotel, an hotel which is equipped with WIFI and security is guaranteed. Dinner at carnivore restaurant and back to the hotel for overnight.
Day 2 : Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve
Hotel pick-up from Nairobi. Drive to Samburu National Reserve arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive is guaranteed upto 1730hrs or 1800hrs {The Samburu National Reserve covers an area of 165 square kilometres and is situated on the banks of the Ewaso Ngiro River in the dry northern reaches of Kenya}back to the Campsite for dinner and over night.
Day 3 : Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast at the campsite, leave the campsite with picnic lunches and spend the whole day exploring the amazing wilderness of northern Kenya.{The reserve harbours a number of wildlife species rarely found elsewhere in any numbers; these include the Grevy’s Zebra, the Reticulated Giraffe and the Beisa Oryx (all of which are only found north of the equator). All three big cats, Lion, Leopard and Cheetah can be found here as well as Elephants, Buffalos and Hippos.
Other mammals frequently seen in the park include Gerenuk, Warthog, Grant's Gazelle, Kirk's Dik-dik, Impala and Waterbuck; the Ewaso Ngiro River contains large numbers of Nile Crocodile and the reserve is also home to over 350 bird species including the famous Somali Ostriches (distinguished by their unique purple/blue legs during mating season), Kingfishers, Hummingbirds, Eagles and Vultures.}dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Day 4 : Samburu National Reserve - Aberdare National Park
After breakfast, drive to Aberdare National Park (lunch en-route or packed lunch) and enjoy an afternoon of incredible wildlife viewing in a landscape that stretches a wide variety of terrains; from the mountain peaks that rise to 4,300m above sea level, to their deep v-shaped valleys intersected by streams, rivers, and waterfalls!{The wildlife within Aberdare National Park includes Lions, Leopards, African Elephants, African Hunting Dogs, Giant Forest Hogs, Bushbucks, Mountain Reedbucks, Waterbucks, Cape Buffalos, Side-striped Jackals, Eland Antelopes, Duikers, Olive Baboons, Black and White Colobus Monkeys and Sykes Monkeys.}
Rarer sightings include those of the Golden Cat and the Bongo, an elusive forest antelope that lives in the bamboo forest; animals like the Eland and Serval Cat can be found higher up in the moorlands; the park also contains a large population of the Black Rhino and over 250 species of birds.Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Day 5 : Aberdare National Park - Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast proceed to Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch,in the afternoon explore this magnificent park, famed as the location of the greatest bird spectacle on earth. {Lake Nakuru National Park is best known for its thousands, sometimes millions of flamingos nesting along the shores; the surface of the shallow lake is often hardly recognizable due to the continually shifting mass of pink. There are two types of flamingo species; the Lesser Flamingo which can be distinguished by its dark crimson colored bill, and the Greater Flamingo which has a pale pink bill with a contrasting black tip.The area is also home to one of the largest concentrations of Black Rhinos in the country as well as a significant number of White Rhinos. Other wildlife include a number of Rothschild's Giraffe, Waterbuck and large sized Pythons that inhabit the dense woodlands; among the predators are Lions, Leopards and Cheetahs.}Dinner and overnight at a budgeted hotel.
Day 6 : Lake Nakuru National Park-Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, drive through beautiful scenery to one of Africa’s greatest wildlife destinations, the world-famous and magical animal kingdom of the Maasai Mara,arrive in time for lunch.Afternoon game drive is guaranteed.
“The Maasai Mara is a large game reserve in south-western Kenya, which is effectively the northern continuation of the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. It is named after the Maasai people, the traditional inhabitants of the area.
The reserve is famed for its open plains, diverse wildlife and the Great Migration; a remarkable wildlife phenomenon involving some 1,300,000 Wildebeest, 300,000 Thomson's Gazelles, 97,000 Topi, 18,000 Elands, and 200,000 Zebras.
All members of the "Big Five" (Lion, Leopard, African Elephant, African Buffalo, and Black Rhinoceros) are found in the Maasai Mara as are Cheetahs, Jackals and Hyenas, while Hippos and Nile Crocodiles inhabit the Mara and Talek rivers in their large groups.
Numerous other antelopes can be found here including Impalas, Duikers and Coke's Hartebeests. The plains also contain the distinctive Maasai Giraffe as well as the Common Giraffe; the large Roan Antelope and the nocturnal Bat-eared Fox, rarely present elsewhere in Kenya, can be seen within the reserve borders”.Dinner and overnight at camp.
Day 7 : Maasai Mara full day
After breakfast proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodile. Dinner and overnight at camp.
Day 8 : Maasai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi
After breakfast,check out and leave maasai mara via narok arriving Nairobi in the evening,drop off at the hotel or transferred to the airport to catch up your flight.we depart knowing we have created good memories in you.
