Jaisalmer, nicknamed "The Golden city", is a town in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is located 575 kilometres (357 mi) west of the state capital Jaipur. It is a World Heritage Site. It was once known as Jaisalmer state. The town stands on a ridge of yellowish sandstone, crowned by a fort, which contains the palace and several ornate Jain temples. Many of the houses and temples are finely sculptured. It lies in the heart of the Thar Desert (great Indian desert).
Jaisalmer is named after Maharawal Jaisal Singh, a Rajput king who founded the city."Jaisalmer" means "the Hill Fort of Jaisal". Jaisalmer is sometimes called the "Golden City of India" because the yellow sand and the yellow sandstone used in every architecture of the city gives a yellowish-golden tinge to the city and its surrounding area. It is the largest district of Rajasthan and one of the largest in the country. On the present map, district Jaisalmer is bounded on the north by Bikaner, on the west & south-west by the Pakistani border, on the south by Barmer and Jodhpur, and on the east by Jodhpur and Bikaner Districts.
Jaisalmer is major and one of the most preferred event organizing destinations in Rajasthan. Tourism is a major industry in Jaisalmer. While Jaisalmer may always have been remote, it is filled with many artistic structures and monuments of local historical importance. Jaisalmer's medieval mud fortress and walled township make it a popular tourist destination. The surrounding desolate landscape evidences a stark, austere beauty. Camel safaris through the nearby desert dunes are popular with tourists.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Pick Up From Delhi Airport/Railway Station And Drive To Jaisalmer Resort Check-in

Early Morning Pick up from Delhi Airport/Railway station and drive to Jaisalmer Rajasthan. Check in resort post lunch. Fresh up and in the evening go for some local sightseeing. In the evening come to hotel and have your dinner at the hotel. No breakfast and lunch included for the day only dinner at Resort in Jaisalmer is included for the day, spend a comfortable and enjoyable night at the resort.

Day 2 : Explore Jaisalmer And Local Sightseeing

Rise early in the morning and leave to explore the Jaisalmer, the flora and fauna of the Jaisalmer, Come back to the hotel at time of breakfast and enjoy your breakfast at the Resort. Take a short here at the resort and relax yourself. Have your lunch at the resort and then go for local sightseeing nearby area of Jaisalmer. Return back to the Resorts in the evening have your delicious dinner at the resort, and spend lavish night at the resort.

Day 3 : Jaisalmer Excursion And Fort Visit

Get up in the morning have your breakfast at the resort and then proceed to search Jaisalmer, return back to the hotel have your sumptuous lunch at the resort take a short rest here and in the evening go for local village sightseeing. Drives back to the resort in the evening have your yummy dinner at the resort and spend comfortable night at the resort.

Day 4 : Resort Check-out And Drive To Delhi Airport/Railway Station

The package can’t be clubbed with any other offer/deal.

Package inclusions and itinerary can’t be change/negotiate.

Service Tax would be charged extra as per the govt. rule (as applicable).

The package can’t be booked for a single person, it is for two adults only.

Local sightseeing as per the itinerary depends on the local weather conditions.

Refund on cancellation depends upon the concerned hotel’s cancellation policies.

Guests are not allowed to drive the cab, provided for the above mentioned itinerary.

The above package is not valid during the festival season, national holidays, long weekends, and New Year.

Per person rates (in Rs.), and applicable on 2 persons, sharing the same room (maximum 2 adults are allowed).

In case of delay in departure occur by guest, cab extra charges will be charge to the guest. Cab will be available till 12 am of last day of booked package.

All transfers, excursions, sightseeing and travel as per itinerary in an air conditioned vehicle (The air conditions will work in plain areas only and not on hills).

Air condition is allowed in the moving position of the cab provided and not in the standing position if it is more than 10 minutes for the above mentioned itinerary.

Guests are not allowed to drink (alcohol)/smoke / do any other illegal activities as per the Indian laws inside the cab, provided for the above mentioned itinerary.

Package rates are subject to change without prior notice. However the new package rates would be conveyed to the guest depending on the availability in the hotels.

One Child between 0 to 4 years is complimentary (without bed) after that each child between 0 to 4 years 50% of per person package cost without extra bed, child between 4 To 12 years will be charged 70% of the per person package cost with extra bed ( mattress ) sharing the same room with parents, beyond 12 years 100% per person package cost will be charged with extra bed (mattress) sharing the same room with parents and we request our guest to declare the actual age of the child at the time booking.

Bariza Holidays reserves the right to change/modify/terminate the offer any time at its own discretion and without any prior notice. However the guests who have already booked their packages would be informed on time.
