Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive at Srinagar

  On arrival at Srinagar Airport, meet our representative and get transferred to hotel. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure and enjoy the scenic view of the mountain ranges around Dal Lake. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

• Day 2 : Sightseeing at Srinagar

  After breakfast, check-out of your houseboat and check-in to your hotel in Srinagar. Later, visit the famous Mughal Gardens, Cheshma Shahi (Royal Spring), Nishat Bagh (Garden of Pleasure), and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love) that Mughal laid out in the 16th century. These fall along the banks of the Dal Lake in the heart of Srinagar city. Then visit Shankaracharya Temple located on a hillock, commanding a panoramic view of the entire city, along with famous Dal Lake & River Jhelum, en route visiting Handloom center famous for the production of Pashmina / Shahtoos shawls and world-famous carpets. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

• Day 3 : Srinagar - Sonamarg - Srinagar (172 kilometres)

  After breakfast, leave for a day-long excursion to Sonamarg - The Meadow of Golds, in the north-east of Srinagar at an altitude of 3000 metres above sea level. The drive to Sonamarg offers some incredible scenic beauties, full of dense pine forests on gigantic mountains. Sonamarg itself is a popular resort for mountaineers and an important halt on the way to Kargil (Ladakh) & provides the ideal base for various trekking routes including the holy shrine of Amarnath. In the evening return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
