Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive in Srinagar - Drive from Srinagar to Pahalgam (94 km/approx. 3 hours)

  After arrival in Srinagar, board the designated vehicle to reach Pahalgam. This hill station, which has been given the sobriquet 'Valley of Shepherds', was once inhabited by many shepherd communities. It is situated at the confluence rivulets that originate from the Lidder River and Sheshnag Lake.
  
  On the way to this picturesque destination, do not forget to explore the famous Pampore Saffron Fields. The lingering aroma of saffron flowers (Kesar) is sure to leave you spellbound. Also, you can buy the best quality saffron at reasonable rates from here. Thereafter, pay a visit to Avantipur Ruins and Sangam Cricket Bat Factory. Later, proceed to the Anantnag Sulphur Springs, which is believed to cure all types of skin diseases because of its great medicinal value.
  
  Upon reaching Pahalgam, check-in at the hotel and rest. Later, visit the beautiful Lidder Valley, which is famous for its pristine beauty and is home to the Himalayan black bear. Situated at the banks of Lidder River, this place is visited by hordes of tourists all round the year.

Indulge in snow sledging on the snow bridge to add a fun factor to your vacation. While visiting this village, you can visit Hajan Valley, where various Bollywood movies have been shot.

Another must-visit place is the Baisaran Meadow that is located amidst snow-capped mountains and dense pine forests. Behold the captivating view of the Pahalgam town and Lidder Valley from here.

• Day 3 : Drive from Pahalgam to Gulmarg (154 km /approx. 4 hours)

  Visit the beautiful Khilanmarg Valley, which is carpeted with blooming flowers. You can also take a pony ride or a Gondola ride (ropeway) to reach this valley (Charges applicable). During the ride get a panoramic view of the nearby regions.

• Day 4 : Drive from Gulmarg to Srinagar - Sightseeing in Srinagar

  Meals: Meals as per planDrive back to Srinagar. Upon reaching, check-in at the hotel and rest for a while.
  
  In the afternoon, leave the hotel to visit the famous Mughal Gardens - Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh and Chashme Shahi. Located on the eastern bank of Dal Lake, these gardens are covered with flowers and offer picture-perfect views of this lake. Shalimar Bagh is the largest among all gardens and is considered to be the royal garden of Kashmir.
  
  Spend the evening enjoying a shikara ride (Charges applicable) on the sparkling Dal Lake. This ride will take you to the famous Nehru Park, which is spread over an area of about 80 acres.
  
  Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 5 : Drive from Srinagar to Sonmarg - Return to Srinagar

  Meals: Meals as per planProceed towards Sonmarg. Known for its beautiful glaciers and crystal-clear lakes, this is an ideal holiday destination for honeymooners and nature lovers. It is known as Sonmarg, as its glaciers display a hue of golden when sun rays fall on them, and thus this name.
  
  Among numerous glaciers located here, the most prominent one is the Thajiwas Glacier. Tourists can hire ponies to take a trip to this glacier. After spending the entire day at this beautiful place, return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at the hotel.

  A visit to this place is incomplete without adoring the beauty of Dal Lake, which is given the moniker 'Srinagar's Jewel'. This lake is the second largest lake in the state and offers picture-perfect views of its surroundings. Other attractions of this city are the famous Mughal Gardens, Pari Mahal and Sri Pratap Singh Museum. Do not forget to explore the markets of Srinagar that are known for handicrafts and dry fruits.
  
  After sightseeing and shopping, retire to the hotel for an overnight stay.
