Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : GUWAHATI – SHILLONG

  Welcome to Guwahati. Meet and be assisted by our representative at the airport/Railway Station.Proceed to Shillong, also called 'Scotland of the East" (100 kms 3 hrs). While traveling we see the majestic Umiam Lake (Barapani) surrounded by sylvan hills and wrapped in the beauty of an assortment of green Khasi-pines and the azure blue skies.On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel.Evening you can visit the local market. Overnight stay in Shillong.
• Day 2 : SHILLONG SIGHTSEEING

  The capital city of Shillong is surrounded by undulating pine-covered hills, adorned by numerous waterfalls. Due to its latitude and high elevation, Shillong has a sub-tropical climate with mild summers and chilly to cold winters. The climate and natural setting lend the city a very special charm, popularly referred to as the Scotland of the East.
  
  Visit Shillong Peak, Elephant falls, Wards Lake and the Don Bosco museum of culture. Evening return to the hotel & free for the leisure. Overnight stay in Shillong.

• Day 3 : SHILLONG - MAWLLYNNONG VILLAGE – CHEERAPUNJEE

  After breakfast visit the cleanest village in India. It is situated 90 kms. from Shillong and besides the picturesque village, offers many interesting sights such as the living root bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. It is along the Indo-Bangladesh border. This cute and colorful little village is known for its cleanliness.Evening we will return back to Cheerapunjee.Overnight in Hotel.
• Day 4 : CHEERAPUNJEE SIGHTSEEING

  Cheerapunjee which is the wettest place in the world. It is a pleasant drive to see roaring waterfalls leaping into deep gorges, including the famed Nohsngithiang Falls. The beautiful waterfall-Nohkalikai is at Cherrapunjee.You can also explore some of the caves in and around Cherrapunjee.Evening return to the hotel. Overnight at Cheerapunjee.
• Day 5 : CHEERAPUNJEE – GUWAHATI

  After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Guwahati. Check in at your hotel. Evening free for the Leisure. Overnight in Guwahati.
• Day 6 : GUWAHATI SIGHTSEEING

  After breakfast visit Kamakhya Temple, Tirupati Balaji Temple, Navagraha Temple, Assam State Museum.After a lunch break, again we start to visit State Zoo cum Botanical Garden, Regional Science Centre and Sukreswar Temple (The 6th Jyotirlinga of Shiva).Evening we suggest an optional tour of Golden sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra.Overnight stay at hotel.

  • Hotspots Navagraha Temple
• Day 7 : GUWAHATI AIRPORT DROP

  After breakfast check out from hotel.With everlasting memories transfer to Guwahati airport/railway station for onward journey.
