Day 1 : Arrival Mumbai
Welcome at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport Mumbai, our representative assist and escort you by a private car and transfer to the pre-booked hotel. After your check in, you will be given all the required documents related to your tour plan; he will explain all your queries about the entire tour plan. If you are arriving by morning flight, after relaxation in the evening visit Iskcon Temple: dedicated to Lord Krishna, The architectural splendour of the ISKCON Temple is adorned with murals and sculptures. Also visiting the Juhu Chowpatty, nearby to the temple, one of the famous beach of Mumbai at Juhu. Later return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2 : Mumbai
Today morning after breakfast take a sightseeing tour of Mumbai with a drive to Gateway of India and from here cruise by motorboats to Elephanta Caves. A flight of 100 steps takes you to the top of the hill where it is set. The caves houses large pillars that seem to hold the ceiling, which is made, have crossbeams. The picturesque presentations of the 9 marvelous sculptured panels, set on the walls are awe-inspiring. The most famous of the panels is the Trimurthi, or triple-headed Shiva, where the God is depicted as the destroyer, the preserver and the creator. Later in the afternoon cruise back to Gateway of India, one can have lunch (on your own) at the hotel or other several good Restaurants like Leopold & Mondegar serving continental cuisines. The sightseeing tour continue visiting Prince of Wales Museum: is a heritage museum comprises of a number of ancient artifacts, Dhobhi Ghat: to see the city's famous open-air laundry in action, Parliament House: The Maharashtra State Assembly, Marine Drive: is one of the most beautifully laid boulevards in the city, Mani Bhawan: Known also Gandhi Museum, here Gandhi laid the foundation for many independence movements; The three storied building has now converted into a museum in honour of Father of Nation. Later return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 3 : Mumbai – Aurangabad
After breakfast check out the hotel and drive to the airport to take schedule flight for Aurangabad, on arrival transfer to the hotel. The city Aurangabad is named after Mughal Emperor Aurangazeb. It was called Fatehpur before it took its present name, Aurangabad is titled "The City of Gates" and surrounded by many historical monuments, If time permits, take a sightseeing tour of Aurangabad city visiting; Bibi ka Maqbara built by Azam Shah in 1678, Panchakki - An engineering feat of the time is the Panchakki, or the water mill built by Malik Ambar in 1695. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 : Aurangabad – Ajanta
After early breakfast take an excursion to the famous Ajanta caves. Ajanta is one of the few historical and architectural marvels of India. Recognized as the World Heritage Site today, it was discovered during the 19th century by a group of British officers who were on a tiger hunt. The Ajanta group of caves, located deep within the Sahyadri hills above the Waghora, depicts the story of Buddhism that prevailed here during 200 BC to 650 AD. Ajanta’s wondrous cave temples are cut into the rocky sides of a dramatic crescent-shaped gorge, at the head of which is a waterfall that drops over the mountain rim in a series of seven steps to a pool far below –deep inside the mountain are the Buddhist chaitya – vihara prayer and monastery caves. Later if time permit you may opt to visit Jami Masjid, Bharatmata Mandir, the Chand Minar, Elephant Tank and 'Chini Mahal' or Chinese Palace are the important monuments inside the fort. Khuldabad ("Heavenly Abode"), Many historical figures are buried here including Aurangzeb, the last major Mughal emperor. Later return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5 : Aurangabad – Ellora
Today morning after breakfast visit to Ellora, one of the highly visited World heritage sites of India. It houses 34 monasteries and temples with some exclusive uninterrupted sequence of monuments that date back from 600 to 1000 AD. The temples of Ellora are dedicated to Brahmanism, Jainism, and Buddhism. It also has some of the excellent stonework depicting the legends related to Lord Shiva. Later check out the hotel and drive to Pune. On arrival transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 6 : Pune – Mahabaleshwar
After breakfast, take a sightseeing tour of Pune, visiting Shindyanchi Chhatri, amongst the architectural prides of Pune, the memorial to the great warrior MahadjiShinde, Pataleshwar Cave Temples lies in the heart of the city, at Shivaji Nagar. This 8th century rock-cut temple, hewn from a massive single rock, has huge pillars, a Shiva shrine and a Nandi bull. Kesari Wada, Museum of Arthropoda, Museum of Natural History, Vishrambaug Wada was a three storied mansion of the Peshwas. Kirti Mandir - a museum of historical glory with antique material. Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum is housed in a quaint Rajasthani-style building, Saras Baug. Later check out the hotel and drive to Mahabaleshwar, on arrival transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 7 : Mahabaleshwar
Today morning after breakfast take a sightseeing tour to the twin hill stations of Mahabaleshwar, they are known for its Strawberry farms, Parsi (Zoroastrian) Heritage bungalows and views of the Sahyadri Hills and Koyna River Valley. It has pleasant walks & good lookouts, and the area has interesting historical connections with Shivaji, visiting various Eco Points to see the panoramic view of the hills and valleys, you may opt to visit Mount Malcolm, a building of olden days with architectural skills, Catholic Church, Mahabaleshwar club, Morarji Castel etc., Evening explore the famous Veena Lake, you may opt to take the boat ride or horse riding. Later return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 8 : Mahabaleshwar - Mumbai
After an early breakfast, take an excursion Panchgani (20 kms) visiting table land and do the fruits and squash shopping at the mall. Nestled in the middle of five hills in the Sahyadri mountain ranges, the hill station is known for its unpolluted air and it is believed that the oxygen content in atmosphere is more here compared to other regions. Due to this many people select this for convalescing from diseases. The ambience is very cool and calm and the exquisite environment is a perfect background for rejuvenation. Later drive back to hotel for check out and drive to Mumbai, on arrival transfer to the airport to board the schedule flight for Goa, on arrival transfer to the beach hotel for overnight stay.
Day 9 : Goa
After breakfast, you can take a sightseeing tour of Old Goa - 10 km from Panjim, the basilica of Bom Jesus, and the 16th century church dedicated to infant Jesus and enshrining the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier, is one of the most important sight of Goa. The other Churches in the same area are St. Cathedral & Fort Aguada, with its vaulted interior, Church of our Lady of Rosary and Nunnery of St. Monica. Evening is free for leisure and individual acitvites. Overnight at the beach hotel at Goa.
Day 10 : Goa
After breakfast, beach activities at Goa: Swaying palms, white sandsand sparkling waters: the three essential elements that attract 2 million visitors annually to Goa’s balmy shores are plentiful in this tiny, glorious slice of India hugging the country’s western coastline and bounded by the Arabian Sea. Also enjoy the roaring wave’s splash against the sturdy rocks in enduring rhythm in harmony with swaying palms, flocks of playful seagulls, busy fishermen toiling against dramatic sunsets, sights to behold indeed. Among the famous beaches areCalangute, Colva, Baga, Anjuna, Vagator, Sinquerim.... the list is endless. Goan beaches offer some exhilarating thrills of parasailing, speed boating, water skiing, yachting, windsurfing and deep sea diving hold out immense promise of pursuing adventure on the sea. Overnight at the beach hotel at Goa.
Day 11 : Goa – Mumbai
Today morning after breakfast day is free for individual and beach activities, later check out the hotel and drive to Goa airport to board the schedule flight for Mumbai. On arrival, if time permits you can go for city tour and shopping at biggest shopping mall of Mumbai, Cross Road, West End, Fashion Street, which is in main Mumbai city. Optionally you can do the shopping in famous markets and shops include Fort, Colaba Causeway, Cottage Industries, and Handloom Emporiums amongst many others. Later transfer to the international airport to board the schedule flight for home town. On departure tour conclude with the happy memories.
