Maihar-Satna-Chitrakoot Tour

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Departure to Satna

  Morning departure to Maihar (471 kms) 7-8 Hours, In the evening arrival Maihar, It is a common belief that first fall Adiguru Shankracharya offered his prayer and worship in this temple. The famous historian A. Cunningham has done a detailed Study of this temple. He dates the stone inscription to 9th or 10th century A.D. In 1922 some joins piligrims inspired king Brajnath Singh Judev to ban offering of animal sacrifice in the temple. Statues of Sri Kalbhairav, Bhagwan Narsingh, Hanuman ji, Goddess Mother Kali, Durga, Sri Gauri Shankar, Sheshnag, Phoolmati Mata, Bramhdev & Jalappadevi are also installed in Sharda Devi temple campus. Move to visit Maa Sharda Devi Temple in the evening, after darshan move to Satna (35 Kms), Check in hotel, Night stay.
• Day 2 : Chitrakoot Dham,

  Today after breakfast departure to Chitrakoot Dham (82 kms). Arrival Chitrakoot Dham after 2-3 hours, visit Ramghat, Kamadgiri, Sati Anusuya, Sphatik Shila, Janaki Kund, Hanuman Dhara, Bharat . In the evening return back to the hotel at Satna and night stay.
• Day 3 : Satna.

  Departure to Panna (70 kms). Arrival Panna after 1-2 hours, check in the hotel rest for some time and after breakfast visit for local sightseeing of places at Panna National Park Extending over 543 km, spread along the banks of the River Ken, the park's topography is a magnificent one of deep gorges, tranquil valley and dense teak forests. During the monsoons, the park is a lush green haven with cascading waterfalls, Ajaygarh Fort, Nachna. In the evening return back to the hotel for dinner and night stay.

• Day 4 : Departure

  In the morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and leave for local Sightseeing and departure to Bhopal.Whole day journey. Arrival Bhopal in the evening, the tour concludes with sweet memories.
