Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Manali to Keylong 115km 5/6 Hrs

  Early morning drive to Keylong, on the way Rohtang pass (3998m) gateway of Lahaul, Khoksar the first village of Lahaul and coldest place of Lahaul. At Sisu village a big waterfall is visible. Gondala, Tandi and Keylong. Night at hotel.

• Day 2 : Keylong Sightseeing (full Day).

  After breakfast visit to Shashur monastery and back to Keylong for lunch. After lunch visit to Yordong monastery and tribal museum

• Day 3 : Keylong to Udaipur 52km (Full day)

  Visit to Trilokinath. This Shiva temple was given a look of a Buddhist shrine by Guru Padmasambave by installing the six armed image of Avlotkesherva. So it has become sacred both for Hindus and Buddhists alike. Udaipur Markul Devi temple it is very famous for wooden carving on its roof and ceiling.

• Day 4 : Keylong to Kardang Monastery

  Visit to Tandi, confluence of river Chandra and Bhaga, Tupchiling monastery, Kardang Jabjes (foot print of Gotsangbo), Kardang monastery, Lapchang Monastery and back to Keylong.

• Day 5 : Keylong to Baralachala 87km (full day)

  It is about 87km from Keylong on Manali Leh road. It’s height is 16500 ft msl. The name means pass with crossroad on summit ( Ladakh , Spiti and Lahaul)this is also an origin of rivers Chandra, Bhaga and Yunam . They flow to different direction. Night at hotel.

• Day 6 : Keylong to Chandratal 5 hrs, ( 4200m)

  It is a beautiful lake located near the Kunzom pass (4590m) on the left bank of Chandra River around the lake there are beautiful mountain range and glacier. Night at camp.

• Day 7 : Chandertal to Kaza 5/6 hrs

  Cross the Kunzom pass (4590m)gateway of Spiti valley. While going to this pass , panoramic view of Bara-Shingri Glacier(second largest glacier in the world) is thrilling and inspiring. From the top of the Chandra Bhaga mountains, glacier is superb, there is one temple and Stupa dedicated to goddess mother Kunzom. Losar is the first village of Spiti on the way to many villages. Night at hotel

• Day 8 : Kaza to Kee and Kibber (half day sight seeing)

  Kee Monastery is situated north of Kaza. It is the oldest and biggest monastery of the valley and is located (4116m) on top of the Kee village. It houses beautiful scriptures and paintings of Buddha and other goddesses.
  
  Kibber (4216m) above sea level famous trek Kibber Tsomorari starts from this village. It is one of the highest villages.

• Day 9 : Kaza to Tabo 05hrs (3060m)

  Drive to Lalung (Lingti Valley) Monastery which is the most important gompa in the valley. Continue drive to Dhankhar monastery the ancient capital of Spiti King the Monastery situated high on the barren mud mountain slopes. After Dhankhar start to Tabo the oldest monastery in Indian Himalaya around 1000yrs old, the Ajanta of Himalaya. Over night at hotel.

• Day 10 : Tabo to Pin Valley (3730m) 3hrs

  After breakfast start to Pin valley, on the way visit to Kungry monastery which is the most important monastery (the sect of Nyigmapa) in the valley. Pin valley is known for its national park the house of snow leopard, Ibex and many birds. Night at hotel or home stay.

• Day 11 : Pin valley to Kaza

  On the way visit to Dhankhar and Lalung Monastery, Dhanker is the big village and the capital of Spiti King. On the top of the hill there is a fort which was use to keep the prisoners in olden times. Lalung village situated in Lingti valley, there is a small and beautiful Monastery. Here you can see skilful clay art. Then back to Kaza.

• Day 12 : Kaza to Manali 6/7 hrs

  Early morning drive to Manali with sweet memories of Lahaul Spiti. Tour ends.
