Mt. Manaslu (8,163 m) is the world's eighth highest peak, located near the border of Nepal and Tibet. The Manaslu trek is one of the recently opened and frequently organized trekking trails in Nepal. The trekking to Manaslu region was officially opened to the tourists only in 1991 and becoming more popular these days, as because the region is popular not only for trekking alone but also for mountaineering. The trek is predominantly Buddhist and remote areas and you will have unique experience of Tibetan style of culture, rituals, and equally explore the blend of culture and heritages, incredible natural beauty, awesome landscapes, flora and fauna and no doubt the astonishing mountain vista. Comparatively, the trekking to Manaslu area primarily the round Manaslu is regarded to be harder than most in Nepal, as there are a huge amount of wasted climbing, when you trek up and down over the ridges, the trail is rough offering a lot of adventure. During the Manaslu trek, you will explore the Tsum valley, a fascinating and magical region, the Tibetan inhabitants here still have link with Tibet. The Buddhist culture here is virtually untouched because of its remoteness.

Manaslu trek begins with one day drive from Kathmandu to Arughat Bazaar, the first camp is along the Budhi Gandagi river and then the trail continues along the Budhi Gandagi river, you will enjoy spectacular views of Ganesh and Shringi Himal and pass through numerous Gurung villagers and reach at Liding, alongside of alpine meadows the journey continues Machha Khola, Yaru Khola, Philim, Deng, Namru, Lho Goan, from where you will have amazing mountain vista mainly of Mt. Himalchuli (7,893 m), and also Mt. Manaslu (8,163 m) continue trekking to Kermo Kharka, from where you will have amazing views of Himalayas, the northern side of Mt. Manaslu, where you have a rest or one day for acclimatization. Once you are ready you will continue trekking to Samdo, and then Larkya Phedi, cross Larkya Glacier and Larkya La pass (5,140 m) and Bimtang (3,590 m), and finally you will reach at Manaslu base camp and you will have amazing view points, take snaps, pass through mountain moraine, you descend down alongside of beautiful alpine meadows at Bimtang, and then Goha, Tal, Syange and finally get back to Bulbule and then Khudi and catch a public bus and then return back to Kathmandu
