FULL ITINERARY
Morning, our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel then proceed to Mayan Chan jetty and board on a local wooden boat for Mingun across Ayeyarwady River (11 km, approx. 1 hour).
The boat trip is very interesting as you can see all types of wooden boats and bamboo rafts, carrying goods up and down the river. Observe the world's largest ringing bell casted by Bodawpaya in 1800 weighing 55,555 viss which calculated equal to 90 tons and Mingun Pahtodawgyi, an enormous pile of bricks is all that remain of King Bodawpaya ambition to make it the world's largest Buddhist stupa. After a visit of beautiful Mya Thein Tan Pagoda, return to Mandalay.
Afternoon, continue to visit MahaGandayon Buddhist Monastery to observe the life style of thousands of Buddhist monks and sunset from U-Bein Wooden Bridge constructed across the TaungThaMann Lake. Return to Mandalay.
