Starting as early as 7:30 am in the morning, we pick up from a variety of places in the district as well as the city, in our journey towards the Eastern Part of the state of West Bengal
We stop at a dhaba on the highway enroute to our destination for our breakfast
We reach Mangalganj village at noon and after a refreshing welcome drink, we cross the Ichhamati river and head towards the Bibhutibhusan Wildlife sanctuary. Inside it we find the golden tailed langur and herds of spotted deers
We head back to our camps for a delicious meal followed by spending time in a nearby park. Gather at the banks of Ichhamati river before sunset for a gentle boat ride on the river
Enjoy the dark village evening in the campsite. An evening with bonfire and horror movies would be a perfect escape from our daily mundane routine. As, the evening turns into night, we head inside the haunted Nilkuthi or the 'Kata Saheb er Kuthi'. Returning back after the adventure, we have our dinner and retreat to our tents/cottages.
6The next day we leave Mangalganj after breakfast and take with us the experience of spending a night at one of the spookiest villages of Bengal
