Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Madurai- On to Rameswaram ( 175kms / Approx. 4 Hours Drive)

  Welcome to Your 'spiritual Tour of Tamil Nadu ' Tour! On Arrival At the Airport / Railway Station in Madurai, You Will Be Met and Transferred to Your Hotel in Rameswaram.
  In the Afternoon, Proceed On a Sightseeing Tour of Rameswaram, Visiting Places like the Ramanathaswamy Temple, Agni Theertham, Ramjharoka Temple Followed By a Visit to Dhanushkodi Beach and Adam's Bridge.

  After breakfast, proceed to Kanyakumari. On arrival, check-in to your hotel.
  Kanyakumari lies in southernmost tip of India where the Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal meet.
  In the evening, proceed to the Sunset point, popular in India for its most spectacular and unique sunset. The confluence of three ocean bodies - the Bay of Bengal, the Indian Ocean, and the Arabian Sea - makes the sunset here even more special.

  Early morning is at leisure. One can opt to enjoy the beautiful view of sunrise in Kanyakumari.
  After breakfast, proceed on a sightseeing tour of Kanyakumari, visiting places like Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Kanyakumari Devi Temple, Gandhi Mandapam and Suchindram Temple.
  The Vivekananda Rock Memorial is one of the finest pieces of architecture in Southern India. Situated on a rock island, Vivekananda Rock Memorial is a major tourist attraction in Kanyakumari and houses the statue of the great preacher Swami Vivekananda. People believe that Swami Vivekananda swam to this small rocky island and meditated here in his quest for enlightenment. The Shripada Mandapam, having a study hall and a museum, and the Vivekananda Mandapam add to the spiritual significance and purity of the memorial.
  Kanyakumari Devi Temple is the first Durga Temple created by Lord Parasurama and is also one among the 108 Shakthi Peethas in the world. Devi Kanya Kumari Temple in Kanyakumari is also known as Bhagvathy Temple, Kanya Devi or Shree Bala Temple. The black stone image of Kanyakumari in the sanctum bearing a garland is an enchanting one. The glittering nose ring that is visible from a distance is of particular significance. Legend has it that the light emanating from this nose ring misguided arriving ships and caused them to crash onto the rocky coast. Devi Kanya Kumari, that is, the virgin goddess, is an aspect of Parvathy. She is known by several other names, including Kanya Devi, Devi Kumari, and Kumari Amman.
  The Mahatma Gandhi Memorial or Gandhi Mandapam is one among the frequented tourist attractions in Kanyakumari. Gandhi Mandapam is built near the famous Anna University. Gandhi Mandapam is one of the greatest monuments that you can look at when you go to India. The Mandapam is built in Orissa style of architecture and designed in such a way that on his birthday on 2nd October, the rays of the sun, pass through a hole in the roof and fall exactly on the urn containing his ashes.
  Suchindram is a panchayat town in Kanyakumari district. It is an important pilgrim centre and the site of the famous Thanumalayan Temple. It is believed that Lord Siva stayed at this place when Devi came for self-punishment at Kanyakumari. It is one of the best places to go in order to understand the rich religious and cultural heritage of India. Suchindram is also a place where a major naval engagement took place between the Dutch and the locals here.
