Day 1 : Arrive Santiago
Welcome to Santiago airport!!! Upon arrival at International Airport – Santiago our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a half day City Tour of Santiago. Santiago de Chile combines the characteristics of a rapidly modernizing metropolis with the historic features of a colonial city. This private tour introduces you to both the historic centre and Santiago’s modern side. In the historic centre, you visit the presidential palace, once the national mint, and hence named La Moneda. Additional sights are around the historic main square, the Plaza de Armas, with its cathedral and the beautiful old post office; the Palacio de la Real Audiencia, now home to the National History Museum; and the Casa Colonial, which was once the governor’s residence during the colonial era. The best views of Santiago and the Andes can be enjoyed from the summit of Cerro San Cristóbal, The hill is part of the Parque Metropolitano – the city’s largest municipal park – where many Santiaguinos spend the weekends practising sports or enjoying a BBQ. After visiting the Cerro San Cristóbal, the tour continues through Providencia, one of the capital’s exclusive districts, with attractive shops, good restaurants and modern high-rise buildings. Day 2 : Santiago Sightseen with local Guide
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Today the day is at leisure or we suggest you to take an optional excursion: Full Day Valparaiso. Meet your guide English-speaking guide in the morning, who accompanies you during this full day excursion to Valparaíso. The historic city of Valparaíso is Chile’s oldest port. The city’s many hills are a multi-colored panorama of painted houses crowding every nook and cranny that provide a spectacular backdrop and also ensure Valparaiso’s unique flair. There is a good reason why the historic city centre of Valparaíso, with its fine 19th century architecture, was added to the UNESCO World Heritage list. The upper and lower sections of the city are connected by 15 funicular elevators. At the turn of the 19th century and still provide good service to this day. During your city tour, you travel to a viewing point by one of them, in addition to visiting the parliamentary building and Plaza Sotomayor’s memorial to the heroes of the War of the Pacific. Day 3 : Santiago - Mendoza
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, check out and transfer to the bus terminal in Santiago. Public Bus Trip to Terminal Los Heroes at Mendoza, Argentina (Ticket Included). Arrival at Mendoza by bus from Santiago. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at the selected hotel.
Day 4 : Mendoza Half day City Tour
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, enjoy a half day City Tour of Mendoza. Visiting the most representative sites of this wonderful city, the excursion begins in Mendoza’s historical quarter - Pedro del Castillo Square. After admiring the urban architecture and San Francisco Ruins, visit some of the different government buildings. The tour continues to General San Martin Park, considered a true greenbelt area, where you enjoy the lake, the rose garden and over 30 sculptures, including a visit to the boat club and observatory. Then go to Cerro de la Gloria (Glory Hill) from where you can see the Monumento al Ejercito Libertador (Monument to the Heroes of the War of Independence) – and the Greek Theater - Frank Romeo Day, where the Fiesta de la Vendimia (harvest festival) is held every year. The tour ends after visiting El Challao, at the Virgin de Lourdes Church. Rest of the day at leisure or we suggest you to take an optional - Half day Wineries Tour. This circuit takes you out of the city and into the wine-making districts of Lujan de Cuyo and Maipu. Here you witness techniques used to irrigate the dry land (canals and ditches) and hear about how the aborigines managed to change a vast desert into a productive oasis. This area is home to prestigious wineries that produce internationally-recognized Argentinean wines. We visit two of these wineries, both still using traditional working methods, together with some of the latest technology. Your tour is accompanied by a wine expert, who explains some of the vinification methods and processes, bottling and labelling of wines, and you can enjoy a tasting of the different wines the vineyards have to offer. Day 5 : Mendoza - Buenos Aires
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, transfer to the Mendoza Airport for flight to Buenos Aires (AEP). Arrival in Buenos Aires and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon city tour. This sightseeing tour allows you to discover the magic of this vibrant cosmopolitan city. The tour includes the beautiful parks and gardens of the Recoleta and Palermo neighbourhoods, the Colon Theatre (one of the world's five most important opera theatres), Plaza de Mayo, the cathedral, traditional Mayo Avenue, Congress Square and many other buildings and palaces of architectural, historical and cultural interest. Your tour then continues with a visit of San Telmo, the residence of aristocracy until the end of the 19th century. Then, you have the opportunity to explore Caminito Street in La Boca, a colourful neighbourhood of Italian immigrants. You visit the recently revitalized area of Puerto Madero. Day 6 : Buenos Aires
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Rest of the day at lesiure. Or we suggest an optioanl tour : Full day Estancia visit. Getting away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Buenos Aires, head out to the vast grassy plains of the Pampas, the birthplace of the gaucho tradition. Spend the day on an estancia where you can truly immerse yourself in Argentine tradition, by taking part in the activities on the farm. The day also includes back horse riding and ancient horse-drawn carriages accompanied by seasoned gauchos, You also have the chance to witness some of the gaucho's incredible skills on horseback: Ring racing, horse racing, etc . The amazing ability of these gauchos can be appreciated through these typical displays of past tradition. Overnight at the selected hotel.
Day 7 : Buenos Aires
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Or we suggest an optioanl tour : Half day Tigre and Delta 30km away from down town Buenos Aires, the city of Tigre constitutes the access to know the Delta of the Paraná River, a group of islands and streams that open up like a fan and offer an attractive natural scenery ideal for recreation and rowing, sailing or fishing. This 4 hour tour includes sailing along the different canals of the Delta and goes through the northern residential area of Buenos Aires suburbs, where the President's Main House is located. Day 8 : Buenos Aires - Iguazu
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, transfer to the Buenos Aires Airport for flight to Iguazu (IGR). Arrival in Iguazu and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon half day tour of Brazilian Falls - Along a beautiful route, crossing a bridge over Iguazu River, reach the Iguaçu National Park in Brazil. From there and bordering the river arrive at the falls where you have fabulous panoramic views. You are able to observe the incomparable beauty of the Iguaçu Waterfalls from across a 1,200m path, with several balconies and a runway over the river up to the ¨Devils Throat”, where besides getting wet with the mist, you enjoy the closest view of the greatest falls in South America. The Path ends in a viewpoint right by the Floriano falls. Overnight at the selected hotel.
Day 9 : Iguazu
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, enjoy a full day tour of Argentinean Falls - one of the wonders of the world, which culminates in the impressive Garganta del Diablo (Devils Throat), where the Iguazu River crashes down almost 80m offering a breathtaking experience. From the visitors centre you can walk around trails or board a picturesque train. The lower circuit leads to the base of the falls, where the spray moistens you. It is a unique experience, worth daring the adventure. From the upper circuit you have the best panoramic views of the park. Leaving from Cataratas station, walk along the catwalk on the upper section of the river. We get to the balcony on the Devils Throat, the biggest fall with such a big flow of water that you are overcome by the grandeur of the scenery. Overnight at the selected hotel.
Day 10 : Iguazu - Rio De Janeiro
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, transfer to the international airport for departure flight to Rio de Janeiro. Arrival in Rio de Janeiro and transfer to your hotel. Welcome to Rio de Janeiro, capital of the State of Rio de Janeiro, and also Brazil's capital from 1763 to 1961, is nestled between the mountains and the sea. Its magnificent shoreline includes charming bays and beautiful beaches, dotted with islands up and down the coast. Flying into Rio is a beautiful sight, whether at night or during the day, the visitor quickly finds out why Rio is known as the Wonderful City. The center for art and fashion, new styles and clothing concepts are always available in Ipanema's elegant stores and boutiques. In the afternoon, drive to "Praia Vermelha" (Red beach), to take the two stage car up to the top of Sugar Loaf (270m), which grants the entrance to Rio's harbor and Guanabara Bay. The Italian made cable car holds 80 passengers and each of the two stages takes two minutes. The first stage is Morro da Urca with 170m, with a snack bar, amphitheater and helicopter-point. The second stage goes on the Sugar Loaf itself, thus named for its resemblance to the loaves of sugar used by the Portuguese at the time of the city's discovery. Overnight at the selected hotel.
Day 11 : Rio De Janeiro
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure where you may take one of these optional tours: Half day Corcovado or Full Day Tropical Islands- Seat In Coach.
Half day Corcovado - Drive to Rio de Janeiro´s elegant residential area of yesteryear´s - the 19th century, its residences, quaint villas and the Näif Art Museum. The top of Corcovado Mountain is reached by a Swiss-made cog-wheel train taking 20 minutes to reach the top. The Christ the Redeemer statue stands 15 meters from its base and proudly closes the summit at 710 meters. The view at the top of Corcovado is one of Rio´s famous postcards, easily recognized around the world. The ever changing scenarios, the lake, the forest, the beaches, are Rio´s landmarks.
Full Dat Tropical Islands- Seat In Coach. Take the Rio-Santos road to Itacuruça. There board our schooner (locally known as "saveiros"). The schooner cruises the Sepetiba Bay, an area rich in natural beauty, where it is normal for passengers to spot the dolphins, giant king-fishers, parrots, turtles and stingrays. After stops for a swim, we continue to the island where a delicious lunch buffet will be served for visitors. After lunch, there is still be time to explore the island before returning to Itacuruça. Arrive in Rio at approximately 6:30 pm. In the evening enjoy an optional tour : Rio By Night Samba Show including dinner- Seat In Coach. Enjoy a nice dinner in one of the best barbecue restaurant, where you can try all different cuts of meat as well as a delicious salad buffet. After dinner, have fun and enjoy a great samba show where “mulatas” exhibit the intricate steps of local dances and “batuqueiros” produce a delirium beat from exotic percussion instruments the world most famous mark of samba rhythm. Day 12 : Rio De Janeiro Airport
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. At noon, check out and transfer from the hotel to the airport for you flight back home.
