Take in the spectacle of the Masai mara and the Great Migration before heading to the cool green beauty of the Aberdare Mountains. Then relax on the sandy white beaches of Diani which have been voted among the best beaches in the world.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Nairobi

  On arrival at JKIA, you are met by our representative for transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day will be at leisure or on optional activities arranged upon request and are payable direct. Lunch and dinner on own account. Overnight at Southern Sun Mayfair

• Day 2 : Nairobi - Meru National Park- MERU NATIONAL PARK

  Depart Nairobi in the early hours of the morning after breakfast and head out through the central highlands towards Mt. Kenya. Your scenic drive will take you through the pineapple growing and coffee farming areas. You will as well have the opportunity to catch a glimpse of day to day rural life in Kenya. Arrive for late lunch at your lodge. In the early evening embark on a “shamba walk” through the small scale farms for a hike on “Skull” hill. From the top enjoy a panoramic view of Meru national Park as well as the surrounding ranges of Nyambene and Aberdare. Return to your lodge/camp for dinner and overnight Ikweta Safari Camp (fullboard)

• Day 3 : Meru National Park

  Enjoy a morning and evening game drive in the park. Trace the endangered Rhino species that are a unique attractions of the park. Discover some of the rarely visited areas including waterfall and numerous streams and springs with crystal clear waters. Return to camp for dinner and overnight Ikweta Sfari Camp (full board)

• Day 4 : Aberdares National Park

  Check out early for a circumnavigated drive around the northern tip of Mt. Kenya to Nyeri. This scenic drive takes you across the ranges that are world known for sheltering the snow capped Mt. Kenya – The highest peak in Kenya as the second highest mountain in Africa. Arrive for lunch at Aberdares Country Club. Later transfer to your tree hotel for the night. Dinner and overnight The Ark
• Day 5 : Aberdares / Lake Nakuru

  Depart after breakfast for the drive taking you into the heart of the Great Rift Valley. Stop over at Thompson falls and later drive on to the valley floor into Nakuru National Park. Enjoy your lunch followed by an evening game drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight Flamingo Hill Camp
• Day 6 : Lake Nakuru - Maasai Mara

  Depart after breakfast for the world renown Maasai Mara Game Reserve, to mean the “spotted plains” in Maa language. This is home to the greatest concentration of large mammals and is widely recognized as Africa’s ultimate wildlife reserve. Being that the park neighbors Tanzania’s Serengeti it has become famous its annual migration of wildebeest. Check-in upon arrival followed by lunch and depart later for an evening game viewing drive in this spectacular place of breathtaking sceneries, never-ending plains and the most abundant variety of wildlife remaining anywhere in the world. Dinner and overnight at Mara Leisure Camp (full board)

• Day 7 : Maasai Mara

  During your stay, you have the opportunity to explore this great reserve in depth. You may see elephant, giraffe, prides of lion, and thousands of impala, topi, grants and Thomson’s gazelle. Birds are prolific including immigrants, 450 bird species have been recorded among them 57 birds of prey. The Mara is the scene of annual migration of millions of wildebeest up from the Serengeti plains in search of water and grasses. While in Mara, you will have the option to float above the Mara-Serengeti ecosystem on board a hot air balloon followed by a gourmet champagne breakfast (at an extra cost). All meals and overnight at Mara Leisure Camp (full board)

  Enjoy the next 4 days relaxing at the coast with optional beach activities and excursions
