You will be picked up and drive to Maasai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch at the camp or lodge. After lunch you will head for afternoon game drive in the game reserve which is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. You will easily spot the big five, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Although July, August and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year round. The famous Masai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve. Dinner and overnight at the Camp/lodge.
Full day spent in the famous Masai Mara in search of herds of plain game, black-manned lions, leopard and cheetah but also contains numerous elephant and virtually every type of wild life to be found in Kenya, lunch is served in the park at the Mara river, after lunch continue with your game drive covering the park into sections, return to the camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.
Another full day at the park for more game drives
Breakfast and return to Nairobi arriving at around 1300 hours. Transfer to the airport for Kampala for overnight.
After Breakfast, depart Kampala and head southwest to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with a stop over at the Equator for Coffee break and photos then continue on to Mbarara for lunch. You will then drive through traditional homesteads seeing banana plantations and famous Ankole cattle with their incredible long horns. You will then ascend into the kigezi highlands; here you will start seeing the peaks of the Virunga volcanoes before descending down the valley into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Dinner and overnight depending on Gorilla Group.
After an early breakfast, report to the ranger station for registration and briefing by one of the ranger guides. Head into the forest in search of the Gorillas, the time taken and the terrain vary with the movement of these great giants. Depending on the time of return, afternoon guided walk on the Munyanga River trail, or a community guided walk will be organized with visits to the Batwa people, traditional doctors and blacksmith, this will be summed up with entertainment from the Local Youth group members, Dinner and overnight at the same as above.
After breakfast, we will head back to Kampala. Drop off at a hotel for overnight stay
Breakfast at leisure then transfer to the airport to board a Nairobi bound flight arriving in good connecting time with your home bound flight
