Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Jammu Transfer to Katra

  Arrival Jammu Transfer to Katra.
  Arrival at Jammu Airport. Transfer to hotel in Katra.
  Half day Sight Seeing to Katra.
  Overnight stay in the hotel at Katra.
  Katra Vaishno Devi, as it is popularly known, is a small town in Jammu and Kashmir, India, situated in the foothills of the Trikuta Mountains, where the holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi is located. It is part of the Udhampur District and is located 42 km from the city of Jammu.

• Day 2 : Mata Vaishnodevi ji

  After breakfast proceed to Bhawan for darshan of Mata Vaishnodevi ji evening at Katra, Overnight at hotel Katra.

• Day 3 : Katra - Shiv Khori - Katra

  After breakfast proceed to Bhawan for darshan of Mata Vaishnodevi ji evening at Katra, Overnight at hotel Katra.
  There are many places of tourist and religious importance around Katra also. The devotees coming for the darshans of the deity can club their pilgrimage with a visit to these places. Especially during the rush time when there is a lot of rush at Katra and Yatries have to wait for some time before being allowed to proceed to Bhawan, they can utilize their time by a visit to these places.

• Day 4 : Katra - Mini Kashmir (Patnitop)

  After breakfast proceed to Mini-Kashmir i.e. Patnitop ("if you don't see a Kashmir", you see Patnitop i.e. Mini-Kashmir) it is on sorrowing Deodar trees fresh air full day excursion like horse ridding, picnic spot, Nag temple, etc,
  Overnight at hotel Patnitop. 112 kms from Jammu. This famous hill resort is perched on a beautiful plateau, at an altitude of 2024 metres across which the Jammu-Srinagar Highway passes. Enveloped by thickly wooded forests, Patnitop offers beautiful picnic spots, peaceful walks and breathtaking views of the mountains cape of the Chenab basin. In winter, the resort is generally covered with a thick mantle of snow thus providing opportunities for various snow games including skiing. It is the best-developed tourist spot of Jammu and is second to none in its natural charm, climate, pine forests and lush green cover. The occupancy of the huts and Dak Banglow is full in summer months.

• Day 5 : Patnitop - Sanasar

  After breakfast transfer to Sanasar on the way View of Natha Top.
  Full day Excursion.
  Over Nights at hotel.
  119 kms. From Jammu and only 17 kms. From Patnitop, Sanasar is cup shaped meadow surrounded by gigantic conifers. A place for a quite holiday, the meadow has now been developed as a golf course. It also provides opportunities for para gliding.

• Day 6 : Patnitop - Sudhamahadev

  After Break fast drive to Sudhamahadev.
  Full day visit to Sudhamahadev.
  Evening Return to Patnitop.
  Over nights at hotel
  Sudh Mahadev is a Popular Pilgrimage site thronged by Pilgrims on full moon nights to worship the trishul and mace believed to belong to the pandavan hero bheem. Near shudh mahadev is Guri kund the legendary spring where the goddess parvati used to bathe before commencing her daily paryers at shdh mahadev and mantali set amidst lush deodar forest is associated with the legend of the marriage of Lord Shiva with Goddess Parvati.

• Day 7 : Patnitop - Mansar - Jammu Railway Station Droop

  After Break fast drive to Jammu.
  Enroots Visit to Manasar Lake
  Droop To Railway Station Mansar is a beautiful lake fringed by forest-covered hills, over a mile in length by half-a-mile in width. Besides being a popular excursion destination in Jammu, it is also a holy site, sharing the legend and sanctity of Lake Mansarovar . Newly weds consider it auspicious to perform three circumambulations ('Parikarma') around the lake to seek the blessings of Sheshnag , the lord of serpents, whose shrine is located on its eastern bank. There are also some ancient temples on the lake's shores, which are visited by devotees in large numbers. Mansar is also ideal for boating for which the Tourism Department provides adequate facilities. For the convenience of visitors a well lit flagstone walkway has been laid all around the shores.
