Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Jammu - Katra

On arrival at jammu railway station , meet & greet at the station by our representative who will guide you to your waiting vehicle. Proceed to katra which is a 2 hrs drive through the beautiful mountains. On arriving at katra check in hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2 : Katra (vaishno devi).

After breakfast leave for vaishno devi temple for darshan. Return to the hotel during the evening and over night at hotel.

Day 3 : Katra - srinagar (278 kms).

Morning after breakfast get ready for journey and 7/8 hrs d to srinagar a 7/8 hrs drive will take you to srinagar. At srinagar you will meet our representative and transfer you to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 : Srinagar local sightseeing (50 kms).

Half day tour of world famous mughal gardens visiting the nishat bagh( the garden of pleasure) built by asif jha in 1636 and shalimar bagh (abode of love) built by jehangir for his beloved wife nur jahan in 1619. Visit shankracharya temple (shiva temple), over looking the magnificient srinagar city and lakes.

Evening lake trip, nehru park, open lake view, swimming boats, kabutar khana, shooting point mission kashmir, floating market, vegetable gardens of the lake, floating garden, meena bazar by a luxurious shikara. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 : Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar (112 kms).

Full day tour of gulmarg which is one of the most beautiful summer resorts in the valley. Enjoy the splendor of nature and snowy mountain. One can have gondola ride (cable car) from gulmarg to khilanmarg ( at own cost ). In the evening return to srinagar, overnight at hotel.

Day 6 : Srinagar - Sonamarg - Srinagar (196 kms).

Full day excursion trip to Sonamarg which is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. Sonamarg (2690 mts) known as the gateway to ladakh. One can ride on horse to thajiwas glacier where you can have snow sledge rides round the year ( at own cost ). Evening return back to srinagar. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7 : Srinagar - Pahalgam - Srinagar (186 kms).

Full day excursion to Pahalgam (2440 mts). On the way visit saffron fields, Awantipora ruins and anantnag sulphur springs.enjoy the nature and the roaring rivers. Evening return back to srinagar. Overnight at hotel.
Day 8 : srinagar - jammu (300 kms).

Leave early morning. Drive to jamm from srinagar. A 8/9 hrs drive till you reach jammu. Drop at jammu railway station for onward journey.

Used the services of INB Vacations when i visited India for the first time in 2010. Mr Thakur and his team were very good in looking after us ........ in the planning stages Mr Thakur was very prompt in responding to all correspondence and also very flexible in accommodating all our needs. He chopped and changed the itineraries until we got it down to a tee. The execution of the trip was also on point.....as with everything ....there were a couple minor hiccups through no fault of the company or their staff but all were resolved efficiently, professionally and very promptly. I was so happy with their services ..... i thoroughly enjoyed my trip to India the first time round ..... i returned after 2 years in 2012 and once again without a second thought got in touch with INB Vacations to help sort out my package including accommodation and travel arrangements.
