The divine shrine resides in a holy cave, which overlooks a three-peaked mountain named Trikuta. Dedicated to Goddess Shakti, there are no idols or statues here, but only natural rock formations.
Your trip begins from New Delhi and an overnight bus journey takes you to Katra, from where you begin your holy trek to seek the blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi.
