Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi - Vrindavan - Mathura - Agra

  Started your journey at 9:00 am from Delhi and takk the Mathura road on NH2. The road conditions are great; the roads are quite wide and smooth. Reach Vrindavan at around 2:00 pm. Vrindavan, just 15 km from Mathura, is a major place of pilgrimage. It is noted for its numerous temples – both old and modern. The name Vrindavan evokes the playfulness and lovable characteristics of Shri Krishna. Visit the Banke Bihari temple straightaway and attend the poojas.
  Soon after, proceed for Mathura, is located at a distance of around 60 kms from Agra.
  Visit Sikander Fort first. It is located on the outskirts of Agra. Inside the fort is situated Akbar’s tomb whose construction had begun under the reign of Akbar but was completed by his son Jehangir in 1605 after Akbar’s death. It is said that a visit to Agra is successful only after you visit Akbar’s grave. At the time of sunset try to catch a glimpse of the Taj Mahal.Drive to the other side of the Yamuna for sunset views of the Taj Mahal from across the river. Overnight at Agra.

• Day 2 : Exploring the Taj Mahal - Fatehpur Sikri - Delhi

  Wake up quite early and visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise. One, because it looks beautiful when the sun in just coming up. Two, because it is the least crowded in the wee hours of the morning. After roaming around the Taj for an hour and a half, proceed to Fatehpur Sikri.
  The royal city at Fatehpur Sikri, situated 37 kms west of Agra, was built at the orders of the Mughal Emperor Akbar. After exploring around a bit and letting yourselves get awed by the Mughal ways of life that are reflected in the magnificence of their forts and architecture, shop around a bit at the local market. Lunch at a local place later, proceed back to Delhi via the old expressway. Overnight at Delhi.

• Day 3 : Delhi Local Sightseeing

  After having breakfast visit Delhi local market and later drop at New Delhi railway station or Delhi Airport for your destination.
