Day 2 : Mauritius: North Island Tour with Table d’Hote Experience

After a sumptuous breakfast today, you will be taken to explore the northern region of the island where you will visit the capital city of Port Louis and spend time shopping at ‘Le Caudan’ waterfront with its array of souvenir shops. Later you will see the Pamplemousses Gardens - most famous for its giant water lilies, a spice garden and the Talipot Palms. In the afternoon, enjoy a Mauritian cuisine at a Table d’Hote. Tonight, enjoy dinner at your hotel.

NORTH ISLAND TOUR

Discover the cosmopolitan mixture in the Mauritian lifestyle and one of the most beautiful gardens of the world, which is the Royal Botanical Garden of Pamplemousses. Stroll the gardens, with many rare species of plants and Validity Double/Twin 01stMay – 30th Sept 1100 spectacular bloom. Of particular interest are the giant water lilies (Victoria Regia), a spice garden, and the Talipot Palms, said to bloom once every 60 years, after which they die. Discover the worship places and the important buildings and monuments. Shop in the typical market called “Bazarre” on the island and in the modern commercial centre, Le CaudanWaterfront.

Day 4 : Mauritius: South Island Tour

Enjoy breakfast this morning; after which you will be taken for a full day tour of the exotic South Island. You will visit the Floreal factory near Curepipe, Trou Aux Cerfs - the crater of an extinct volcano, Grand Basin - the island’s natural lake which is called the “Ganga” of Mauritius. You also get to see the Chamarel waterfall and the unique seven coloured earth. Enjoy dinner at your hotel.

SOUTH ISLAND TOUR

Discover Ali Baba’s Cavern and the shopping paradise - Floreal and Curepipe. Stop at the Trou Aux Cerfs, a dormant volcano at about 650 meters above sea level, visit the Grand Bassin, the “Ganges” of Mauritius, Chamarel Cascade and the seven colored earth.

Day 5 : Mauritius: Ile aux Cerfs

Today after breakfast, you will be taken to Ile Aux Cerfs, a beautiful island resort. Enjoy the beauty of fine white sand and clear blue waters. Here you can do parasailing and water skiing. Dinner is at your hotel tonight.

ILE AUX CERFS

Ile aux Cerfs Island, known in English as the deer island is an island near the east coast of Mauritius. www.thomascook.in Fine golden sand, clear turquoise water, an emerald lagoon is waiting for you to spend the whole day. List of water sports activities are available for you to opt for locally. You can enjoy lunch on the island at a local restaurant.
