Day 1 : Arrival
start the journey towards Shimla. On the way to Shimla, do not forget to admire the picture-perfect landscapes and breathe in the fresh air. Located at a height of 2200 m above sea level, this hill station was once the summer capital of India, under the British rule. However, after independence, it was named the capital of Punjab. After a few years, it was made the capital of the state of Himachal Pradesh. Bestowed with high mountain peaks, lush greenery, pleasant weather conditions and serene environment, Shimla justifies the sobriquet 'Queen of the hills'. With numerous places of tourist interest, this destination successfully holds the attention of the tourists for days. From peaceful walks in the meandering streets to numerous adventure sport activities, this place serves as a perfect holiday destination for people of all groups. Some of the must visit places of this destination include Jakhoo, Kalka-Shimla Railway and Rashtrapati Niwas. While touring this hill station, do not forget to go for a stroll in the meandering Mall Road. This road, dotted with numerous shops, branded outlets and eateries, is the most famous hangout spot of this place. On arrival at Shimla, check-in at the hotel and rest for some time. Day 2 : Dharamsala
After enjoying a peaceful night stay at the hotel, wake up rejuvenated and embark on a sightseeing tour to Dharamsala. Commence the tour with a visit to the famous Tibetan Medical Centre, where treatment is done using rare Tibetan medicines. Later, leave for St. John Church, which is one of the oldest churches of this region. It is widely acknowledged for its Belgian stained-glass windows, which were donated by Lady Elgin. Do no miss a visit to the famous Buddhist monasteries, dotted all across the region. To rejuvenate and relief your stress, attend some meditation classes. Other than these attractions, some other places to visit include Kangra Art Museum, Tea Gardens and Kunal Pathri Temple. Spend the evening, resting at the hotel room. Enjoy a good night's sleep at the hotel.
Day 3 : Departure
Drive from Dharamsala to the Delhi bus, bringing this unforgettable journey to an end.
