The town of Mcleodganj, Himachal Pradesh is famous especially and foremostly for being a spiritual getaway and pilgrimage for the Buddhists. The reason behind that is it is home to the 14th Dalai Lama of the Buddhists, Lama Tenzin Gyatso, who came here in the year of 1960 after his exile from Tibet. Dalai Lama established Tibet Government in exile here at Dharamshala and made the quaint little town of Mcleodganj as his permanent residence.
Apart from this, Mcleodganj is considered by many to be an adventurous hub, especially in terms of trekking in Mcleodganj. Home to one of the most beautiful, scenic and exciting treks of the country, the Triund Trek, Mcleodganj is the base camp for reaching the summit of the famous hill. Starting from Dharamkot in Mcleodganj, the 9 km trek leads the trekker through forests of Oak, Deodar, and Rhododendron before opening up to one of the best sceneries that you will find in the Himalayas. Apart from Triund, some of the places to visit in Mcleodganj include the name of the famous Bhagsunath temple. Housed in the Kangra district and at the suburbs of the town of Dharamshala, Mcleodganj, Himachal Pradesh is one of the most favorite tourist destinations of recent times. Because of being occupied by a lot many of Tibetans who moved here after China’s invasion of their homeland, Mcleodganj is also sometimes referred to as the Little Lhasa. Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : DEPARTURE FROM DELHI

  Begin from the city of Delhi at 06:30 PM from Vidhan sabha metro station.
  • Overnight journey

• Day 2 : MCLEODGANJ ARRIVAL & SIGHTSEEING

  Reach McLeod Ganj by morning.
  Check in at our hotel and after having breakfast and some leisure, head out for the local sightseeing of Mcleod Ganj.
  Visit the very famous Namgyal Monastery, Bhagsu waterfall, and Bhagsunath temple.
  Spend your evening at the local market of Mcleod Ganj, chilling around in the local cafes, trying different Tibetan cuisine.
  Come back to the hotel by evening.
  Dinner and sleep overnight.

• Day 3 : TREK TO TRIUND & CAMPING

  Wake up early morning and after having breakfast head for Triund Trek.
  Take a pit stop at Magic View Cafe on your way through Triund and chill around for half an hour.
  Reach Triund by evening and enjoy the beautiful views of Dhauladhar Ranges.
  Check in to the campsite.
  Dinner and sleep overnight.

  Wake up with a beautiful and blissful sunrise and enjoy your morning breakfast.
  Trek down to Mcleodganj & Explore Dalai lama Temple, Mcleodganj Cafes & Dharamshala Stadium
  Head back to Delhi by evening with lots of amazing trip memories.

• We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft or any other reason. Guest are advised to seek such insurance in advance.
• Factor such as weather, Road conditions, physical abilities of the participants etc… may dictate itinerary change.
• We reserve the rights to change any schedule in interest of safety, comfort and general well-being are no refund would be provided in such situation.
• We do not allow smoking during the travel in bus. Infinite Traveler reserve the right to discontinue your trip at any point on the grounds of misconduct and no refund will be made under such circumstances.
• Departure time is fixed as given and its on you qto update your status to the trip coordinator. Trip coordinator will also try to call you atleast thrice but infinite traveler in not responsible for any damages caused to room/camp furnishings and fixtures.
• Please not that after the finalization of the tour/Service Cost, if there are any hike in entrance fees of monuments/ museums, Taxes, fuel cost or guide charges,- by Govt of India,
• the same would be charged as extra.
• In the Hilly Terrain, it will be Discreation of tge driver to put of the systems of the vehicle like Air Conditioner, Sound system, Focus will always be on safety.
• In case of any injuries/illness during the trip/Activity, infinite traveler as a tour operator or any of our local staff will not be responsible.
