Welcome to the Kriya Yoga Retreat Centre at Gangasagar. It is a place to take you on a fascinating journey From Samsara to Nirvana.
We provide a gateway to the inner journey by rejuvenating yourself through Yoga, Asana, Pranayama, Bhagavat Gita Philosophy, and meditation sessions at the divine campus. It is a specially designed meditation program with Havan , Diksha and Satsang for all those who are spiritually inclined, seeking a happy and blissful life.
We endeavor to bring together the traditions of wellness, meditation and Ancient Rishi Wisdom with deep commitment and personalized support.
Kriya Yoga Retreat Centre at Gangasagar provides a place for guests from all over the world to come and experience the teachings of Maharshi Giri Surya Swami , disciple of Swami Premananda Giri Maharaj.
We follow and share the teachings in the lineage of Mahavatar Babaji Maharaj of Kriya Yoga tradition. We are open to visitors every day throughout the year. Guests can participate in a variety of weekend & week-long programs.
We provide facilities to exercise in tranquil greenery, tucked away from crowds and noises, opportunities to stay well and little comforts and pleasures conducive to meditation, yoga and self discovery. Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : KOLKATA TO GANGASAGAR BY CAB

IT WILL TAKE APPROX 6 HRS JOURNEY FROM KOLKATA TO GANGASAGAR . FIRST WE WILL REACH KAKDWEEP LOT NO. 8 BY CAB FROM WHERE WE HAVE TO TAKE PASSENGER VESSEL ( STEAMER ) TO CROSS THE RIVER APPROX 8KM. IN LENGTH AND WE WILL REACH TO KACHUBERIA GHAT FROM WHERE AGAIN WE NEED TO TRAVEL BY CAB TO REACH THE KRIYA YOGA RETREAT CENTER.

Day 2 : MEDITATION , HAVAN , SATSANG AND GOUSEVA

The retreat program will be held at Kriya Yoga Ashram Gyanpith, Gangasagar, 24 PGS(S), W.B.
1) DIKHYA (WITH FIRE CEREMONY)-
Description: Purusartha & burning karmic disposition and cultivating good sanskara.To bring good vibration, and bring happiness and peace.
Duration: 1.30hr. (Hindi/Sanskrit/English)
2) DHAYNA (MEDITATION)-
Description: Practical guided meditation. To bring good vibration, and bring happiness and peace.
Duration: 2.30hr. (English/ Hindi)
3) VEDIC HAVAN (FIRE CEREMONY)-
Description: To bring good vibration, and bring peace and happiness. Description of rituals in its real sense. A Havana is directed at awakening of the auspicious energies and getting rid of the negative energies surrounding us. The sacred mantras chanted during Havana create a particular vibration which wards of the evil forces and energies and ushers in the positive forces.
Duration: 2.30hr. (Hindi/Sanskrit)
4) PRANAYAM & YOGA-
Description: Practical guided PRANAYAM & YOGA. To bring good health, and bring happiness and peace.
Duration: 1.30hr. (English/Hindi)
5) TALKS BY GIRI SURYA SWAMI-
Description: practical spirituality

MEDITATION IN LIGHT OF BHAGABAT GITA:
1) TALKS BY GIRI SURYA SWAMI.
Description: practical Meditation.
Duration: 1.30hr. (English/ Hindi)
SPIRITUAL PROGRAM:
1) LIFE TRANSFORMATION FROM WITHIN-
Description: Handling stress and relationship.
Duration: 45 min. (English)

Day 3 : SIGHT SEEING

Kapil Muni Temple, Sea Beach, Mythological Mural At Dala Arcade, BeguakhaliSea Beach, Light House, Nag Sarabar, GoshtoMandir, ManasaMandir.
You can offer Donation for Sadhu Seva, Goseva or education in our school in the campus, 1 day nityabhog at jagannath temple for any auspicious occasion.

Day 4 : KOLKATA

WE WILL BE GOING BACK ON THE SAME ROUTE THAT MEANS FROM ASHRAM ( RETREAT CENTER ) TO KACHUBERIA GHAT AGAIN CROSS THE VESSEL AND RETURN BACK TO KOLKATA BY CAB AFTER BREAKFAST.
