Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Guwahati

  On arrival at Guwahati drive to city and check into your hotel room. After lunch visit Balaji Mandir, Basistha Mandir a Major Pilgrimage site on the outskirts of Guwahati city. In the evening take a Cruise Ride on the Mighty Brahmaputra River with good music and light snacks. Stay Overnight at your hotel in Guwahati.

• Day 2 : Guwahati - Shillong

  After an early breakfast at 8 am visit the famous Kamakhya Temple, a major Hindu Pilgrimage site situated at an altitude of about 800 feet from Sea level. The top of the Nilachal hill provides excellent view of the Brahmaputra River as well as parts of Guwahati City. Later drive on to Shillong (110 km, 3 hrs drive). Have Lunch en-route at Borapani Umiam Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. After reaching Shillong check in at your hotel. Evening roam the famous Shillong Police Bazar area on foot.

• Day 3 : Shillong - Cherrapunji

  After breakfast drive on to Cherrapunjee (60 kms 1 1/2 hr), the wettest place in the world. At Cherrapunjee visit - Mawsmai Cave, Mawsmai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls and the beautiful Nohkalikai Falls. Return to Shillong, en-route visit Elephanta falls and Shillong peak for some breathtaking views. Stay Overnight at your hotel in Shillong.

• Day 4 : Shillong - Mawlyngong

  Post breakfast drive to Mawlynnong (100kms) "The cleanest village in Asia". Visit the Bangladesh border (Dawki). Visit the various tree houses, living root bridge etc. After returning back in the evening visit the local market of Shillong, the beautiful Churches and Polo Ground. Stay overnight at your hotel in Shillong.
• Day 5 : Shillong - Kaziranga

  After breakfast drive on to famous Kaziranga National park (280 kms 6 hrs drive). Check into your Jungle resort. Post lunch proceed to Western Range of Kaziranga National Park on Jeep Safari. Evening enjoy cultural show. Stay overnight at Kaziranga.

• Day 6 : Kaziranga

  Early morning (5:30 am) explore central Range of Kaziranga National Park on Elephant Safari. On return explore the eastern range on a jeep safari. Evening enjoy the beauty of Mother Nature. Stay overnight at Kaziranga.

• Day 7 : Kaziranga - Nameri

  After breakfast drive to Nameri National Park (100 km, 2 hrs drive). With river Jia Bhoroli bifurcating the park, it is the most scenic of all the national parks of Assam. It is a Tiger Reserve and also a birders paradise with more than 376 species of birds recorded so far. The inaccessibility and continuity with the neighboring forest areas have helped the wildlife of Nameri to flourish. Evening at leisure beside the camp fire and listening to the jungle. Stay overnight at Eco-Camp (Nameri).

• Day 8 : Nameri - Guwahati Airport

  Early morning at about 5.30 am an exclusive river rafting (mild rapids) trip on Jia - Bhoreli River, flowing along the National Park, for water birds. After morning breakfast and with fresh memories drive straight to Guwahati Airport (250 km, 5 hrs) and proceed for your hometown.
