Enjoy the 3 Day Great Ocean Road and Grampians Adventure between Melbourne and Adelaide. The trip takes you into the Grampians National Park where you see Aussie wildlife, go on fun bush walks and hikes and see amazing views and scenery.

On on the Great Ocean Road we see sunset / sunrise and the 12 apostles, visit London Bridge, Lorne, see Koalas and other wildlife and the fantastic sights that the Great Ocean Road offers. We also visit the famous Bells Beach and the surf outlets in Torquay.

This is the best way to get from Melbourne to Adelaide and it is a fantastic road trip in southern Australia.

Once we leave the city we set off on an adventure. The Great Ocean Road is amazing and you will see amazing sights with Adventures Beyond. You are on an adventure with a maximum of 21 people, giving us flexibility and enabling us to visit the best places at the best times, on every tour.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Otway National Park, Bells Beach and Beyond

  Day 1 head out for one of Australia's most famous road trips - the Great Ocean Road. We watch the surfers in action at Bells Beach and Torquay (home to brands like Rip Curl and Quiksilver, before heading to the seaside towns of Apollo Bay and Lorne. We get up close to the cuddly koalas at Kennet River, before exploring the Otway National Park on a easy walk through one of the worlds oldest temperate rainforests. We finish the day at sunset over the 12 apostles, and spend the night on the Great Ocean Road in nice accommodation.

• Day 2 : 12 Apostles, London Bridge and More

  On day 2 on the Great Ocean Road Tour we continue along the spectacular shiopwreck coast exploring the Bay of Martyrs, London Bridge and Loch Ard Gorge. We have lunch at a dormant volcano - Tower Hill where there are many wildlife to see including koalas, kangaroos, possums, echidnas and birdlife. In the afternoon we arrive in teh Grampians National park, we take the nice bushwalk on the Venus Baths trail folowing the rock pools before sunset viewing of more Aussie wildlife. We walk to the Balconies for spectacular views before arriving at our wood cabin accommodation surrounded by the towering mountains of the Grampians.

• Day 3 : Grampians, Bush Walks and Wildlife

  Day 3 is the final day of our adventure, we get up before dawn for the adventure bushwalk to the Pinnacle and the awe inspiring views they behold. We check in to learn about the Aboriginal history of the area at the Brambuk cultural centre before seeing the amazing views of Mt Arapilies. The afternoon we take the drive through to Adelaide, crossing the mighty River Murray and travelling through the Adelaide Hills arriving at around 7pm in Adelaide.
