The Marangu Route is one of the most popular routes for climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest peak in Africa. It's known as the "Coca-Cola" route due to its relative ease and popularity, making it a common choice for many climbers.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Marangu Gate (1860 m) to Mandara Hut (2720 m)

  Hike through the rainforest, which is lush and filled with diverse flora and fauna.
  Approximate hiking time: 5–6 hours.

• Day 2 : Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut (3720 m)

  Pass through the rainforest, then the heath and moorland zones.

• Day 5 : Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak (5895 m) and descent to Horombo Hut

  Start the ascent to Uhuru Peak, the summit of Kilimanjaro, usually in the early hours of the morning.
  Reach the summit in time for sunrise, if possible.
  Descend back to Horombo Hut for the night.
  Approximate hiking time: 11–15 hours.
