Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival - Shanti Stupa

  Arrival Leh by morning flight and transfer to the hotel. Full day of rest for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft / 3500 mtrs). In the late afternoon visit the City Center for an orientation walk in Leh Bazaar, followed by a visit to Shanti Stupa.

• Day 2 : Leh - Local Sightseeing

  After leisurely breakfast visit Shey Palace, Sindhu Ghats, Thikse Monastery.
  Stok Palace Museum and Hemis Gompa.Late afternoon drive back to Leh. Evening at Leisure.

• Day 3 : Leh - Khardung La pass - Leh

  Day excursion to Khardung La pass which is the highest Motorable pass in the world 5600 mtrs and has been recorded in the Guinness book of world records at the top enjoy the nature the nature beauty of snow capped mountains. Late afternoon return back to the hotel, evening visit by foot Leh Bazaar and Leh Palace. overnight at hotel.

• Day 4 : Leh - Alchi

  Morning after breakfast leave for Alchi monastery known as Alchi Choskor is the only monastery in the Ladakh on flat ground on the way visit Basgo castle lie on the right bank of the Indus by the lunch time we reach Alchi, afternoon visit the Alchi monastery and explore the nature beauty of Alchi village overnight at hotel / guest house.

• Day 5 : Alchi - Lamayuru - Leh

  Early breakfast and then leave Alchi and continue drive to Lamayuru via Khalsti passport checking point from here another 22 kms drive will take us to Lamayuru the oldest Spectacularl set Lamayuru monastery founded in the 10th century visit the monastery. Late afternoon drive back to Leh which is 4/5 hours drive overnight at hotel.

• Day 6 : Leh - Stok palace

  Morning half day visit to Stok palace .the palace was built by kings Tsespal Tond up Namgyal in 1825 on the way back visit the choglamsar village the Tibetan refugee camp which is famous Tibetan culture history and Buddhism, afternoon day for personal activities or visit to the local Ladakhi family house which can be arranged on request overnight at hotel.
