Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Jammu - Patnitop - Srinagar

  On arrival at Jammu airport or railway station our representative having a placard displaying your name will meet you to pick you up and transfer to Srinagar. Full day drive overnight at houseboat.
• Day 2 : Srinagar Local Sight Seeing

  This morning after breakfast visit world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love), The Chasme Shahi Garden etc. Return to houseboat for hot lunch. In the afternoon Shikara ride on The Dal Lake to enjoy the beauty that God has graced this city with which is often compared to Venice. You will get view of some very interesting places around the Lake. Overnight at Houseboat.

• Day 3 : Srinagar - Sonmarg - Kargil 205 Kms

  Leave in the morning and drive to Kargil by car/coach and road passes through the panoramic village reach Sonmarg (2740 Mtrs) After Sonmarg most rough road and wet Zojila pass 3527 Mtrs (Gateway of Ladakh). Continue drive towards Drass (The second coldest inhibited place in the world) we stop here for tea and passport check. Another two and half hours drive will take us to Kargil (2710 Mtrs) which has got its importance after opening of Ladakh for tourists in 1974. Overnight at Hotel.
• Day 4 : Kargil - Leh 235 Kms

  Leave in the morning full day drive to Leh today we have to ascend three passes this day will be tiresome but panoramic too. First Buddhist village will be Mulbek. We have to cross the highest pass (Fotula 13749 ft.) on Srinagar Leh route. At lunch time we will be at Lamayuru oldest Monastery. Continue drive to next village Nimu a view of Zanskar River following into Indus. Finally we reach Leh 3500 Mtrs. Overnight at Hotel.
• Day 5 : Leh

  After breakfast we proceed for Indus Valley Monastery tour including Shey Palace, The ancient capital of Ladakh, Thiksey an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village, Hemis Gompa, the largest monastic foundation of Drukpa Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism, Sindhu Ghat & Stok Palace Museum. Packed or Hot Lunch will be provided. Overnight at Hotel.

• Day 6 : Leh - Khardongla Pass - Leh 85Kms

  Day excursion to Khardongla passes which is the highest motorable pass in the world 5600 Mtrs and has been recorded in the Gunnies Book of World Records. At the top enjoy the nature beauty of snow capped mountains. In the late afternoon return back to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
• Day 7 : Leh - Alchi (Uletokpo)

  Early morning leave for Alchi. En route Patharsahib Gurudwara, Confluence of Indus and Zanskar rivers, Magnetic Hill, Alchi Monastery. Reach Alchi (Uletokpo) and check into the tents. O/n Alchi.
• Day 8 : Alchi - Kargil

  After breakfast proceed for Kargil via Mulbek (An 1st Century Giant Living Buddha Sculpture on Rock Mountains), Mulbek, Moonland, Lamayuru Monastery. Reach Kargil and transfer to the hotel. O/n Kargil.
• Day 9 : Kargil - Srinagar

  Early morning leave for Srinagar. En route have a magnificent view of Kargil war Peaks, Drass Village (2nd Coldest Inhabitant place in the World), Jozila Pass. Reach Srinagar and transfer to hotel. O/n Srinagar.
• Day 10 : Srinagar to Gulmarg

  This morning after breakfast leave for Gulmarg which is one of the most beautiful summer resort in the valley. It is also popular for its highest golf course in the world and skiing during the winter season. One can have Gondola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to Khalinmarg. Return to Srinagar, overnight at Hotel in Gulmarg.

• Day 11 : Gulmarg to Pahalgam

  This morning after breakfast drive to Pahalgam 2440 Mtrs (Vale of Kashmir) on the way visit Saffron field and Avantipur ruins, which is eleven hundred years old temple. Finally by the lunchtime you will reach Pahalgam, which is the most famous palace for Indian Film Industry. After lunch enjoy the nature charm of the valley. Overnight in Pahalgam.

• Day 12 : Pahalgam - Katra

  This morning after breakfast drive back to Katra. Rest of the day is free for rest or shopping. Overnight at the hotel.
• Day 13 : Katra Mata Vaishno Darshan

  This early morning start 13 km trek by foot or alternatively take a morning 10 minutes flight by helicopter to reach Vaishno Devi Temple, have Darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi. After having Prasad proceed to Bhairo Baba Temple by horse and reach the helipad by horse to fly down to Katra. You can also walk down by foot to reach Katra. After returning Katra relax in the hotel. Overnight at hotel in Katra.

• Day 14 : Katra to Jammu for Onward Journey

  Today you will be transferred to Airport or Bus Station for your onward journey.
