All our itinerary component is flexible and can be modified to suit your interest and preference. Our standard is usually using 3 star hotel with standard AC transportation, but if you wish to have higher standard of accommodation and transportation, we are more than happy to provide the suggestion except in some remote area where only available standard transportation and non star hotel for example in Borneo, and PapuaTravel Insurance

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : SURABAYA - TRETES - PONDOK WELIRANG - LEMBAH KIJANG

  Upon arrival at Surabaya airport, your guide will pick you up at the airport then drive to Tretes area. Then you will start trekking for about 5 hours to Lembah Kijang base camp, at the foot of Welirang Volcano. We pass through farmlands, meeting friendly locals and getting to see them at work on their farms and going about their daily activities. We’ll also trek through dense jungle where deer and other kinds of wildlife can be seen, if we’re lucky we might spot some of the local fauna. The next couple of nights will be spent at Lembah Kijang base camp. Lembah Kijang means ‘valley of the deer’ and during the night you may hear their loud calls to their mates.

• Day 2 : TREK TO SUMMIT OF WELIRANG VOLCANO (3156m) - LEMBAH KIJANG CAMP

  Today we will trek from Lembah Kijang base camp to the summit of Welirang Volcano. We will start trekking before dawn, a total of approx 7 hours is normally required to trek up to and back from the summit however depending on the weather we may need longer. At the summit we’ll explore the crater and its large fumaroles field, the sites where the sulfur is being quarried using primitive tools. We plan to arrive back to camp by 10:00am. The remainder of the day is then spent at leisure, you may choose to take some rest after this morning’s trek or you may wish to spend some time exploring the beautiful surrounding valley.

• Day 3 : TREK TO SUMMIT OF ARJUNO (3339m) - LAWANG TEA PLANTATION

  Today we have another summit trek, this time to the summit of Arjuna Volcano. From our camp we commence an interesting trek pass two small peaks, Kembar 1 and 2, which are also part of the Welirang/Arjuna mountain chain. The trek to the summit normally takes approx 3-4 hours. Once we reach the summit we spend some time admiring the view and taking photos, then we going back towards ourbasecamp, but on the track we will take turn to another path to continue on to Lawang. Lawang is a small tea plantation near the highlands of Tretes, then check in to the local home stay for overnight. A simple accommodation with a spectacular view, lush tea plantation with towering mountains background.

• Day 4 : LAWANG TEA PLANTATION - BROMO AREA

  Enjoy the morning view at the tea plantation, while walking along the tea plantation trail, or just lazy down on the lodge. Then leave forBromo area, it will takes about 4 hrs of smooth drive to Bromo. All the way we will see the local farmland, small villages, and of course, picturesque landscape.

• Day 5 : BROMO SUNRISE TOUR - SURABAYA

  At 03.30 in the early morning you'll be wake up and the Jeep will bring you to the world's most famous view point at Mt. Pananjakan on the rim of the Tengger caldera to enjoy the sunrise with its young volcanic including Mt Bromo and an active Mt Semeru in the background. Then the adventure continues to an active Mt. Bromo volcano to climb up 245 steps of stairs to reach the ridge of Bromo Caldera. You will experience horseback riding for about 10 minutes to reach the stairs to bromo. Then going back to your hotel for breakfast and freshen up, then at the appropriate time you will be transfer to your accommodation in Malang.
