Arrive at Tehran IKA Airport where you will be met and taken to your hotel. Accommodation: It has be chosen by you as it is written on the offer.
Today leave Tehran and drive northwest. At Karaj, we leave the main highway and head north travelling into the Alborz Mountains on a road which connects Karaj to Chalus on the Caspian Sea we leave the city and pass one of Tehran's four dams which has created a beautiful blue lake. The drive then takes us to the top of a pass at 2500m .Having crossed the range we turn onto a smaller road at Marzanabad and make our approach towards Iran's second highest peak, Alam Kuh (4850m). In contrast to the barren southern slopes the northern approaches are through lush forest influenced by the Caspian coastal climate. The road climbs up into the foothills of the mountains and to the village of Roudbarak (1400m) we then follow a dramatic road of 8km up the Vandarbon valley to our overnight stop at the Vandarbon Hut (2400m). Tonight we stay in the Iranian Mountaineering Federation.
The spectacular peak of Alamkuh is located in the Takht-e-Suleyman Massif. (3300m) .Our "base-camp" is located on a plateau known as Hesarschal (3750m) we stay here.
Todays summit will most likely be Lashgarak (4320 m) and stay here tonight.
Today the plan is to climb Iran's second highest peak Alam Kuh (4850m). A short drive (40 mins) sees us back at the Vanderborn Hut with its welcoming hot showers!
Drive out of the mountains and descend to a greener world, the narrow coastal strip nestled between the mountains and the Caspian Sea continue to reach Albroz range to the small town of Polur (2250m). Here we stay in the Iranian Mountaineering Federation Mount Damavand.
After breakfast we leave our base at Polur and climb aboard our 4WDs to drive (maximum 1 hour) on an unsurfaced mountain road as far as Goosfand-sara (3200m). Keep on trekking till able to see the Bargah-Sevon Hut (4200m).Stay here.
Today, walk from the Bargah-Sevom Hut and take a half day hike to a point of higher altitude before returning back to our base, we make the ascent of Damavand today. Stay overnight here.
Today we hike back down to walk down to the Goosfand-sara mosque before returning to Tehran.
Recharge your batteries till evening and flight to Shiraz.
Explore Shiraz, a city which is well-known for its Persian lyrics, roses, cypresses and nightingales. Start your sightseeing at Bagh-E-Eram then the beautifully decorated Nasir al-Mulk mosque continue to visit the 19th century Narenjestan Palace (Orangery).This afternoon visit the peaceful tomb and pavilion of the poets Hafiz and Saadi.Eventually, conclude your sightseeing at Shiraz’s conventional market the Vakil Bazaar (closed Friday).
Today, en route to Isfahan, you visit Persepolis one of the world’s most magnificent archaeological sites. The site was the ceremonial of capital of the Achemenid kings, featuring the remains of the palaces of Darius the Great, Xerexes and Artaxerxes the era brought to life by bas reliefs of kings and courtiers from across the Persian Empire. At Naqsh-e Rustam, you can see four tombs and one building from Achaemenid dynasty with a group of ancient Iranian rock reliefs cut into the cliff from Sassanid density.
Start your leisurely day at the Chehel Sotun Palace, then walk the short distance to an attractive square framed by the Imam (Shah) mosque, it is renowned as the supreme perfection of Islamic architecture on one side, and the Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque with its colorful detailed tile work ranking among the best in the world on the other. Finally, you visit the Ali Qapu Palace and Bazaar.
In the morning visit Jame mosque,ancient bridges, the Armenian Quarter with its churches and cathedral of Vank in Isfahan continue to see Fin Garden in Kashan en route to Tehran.
Transfer to Tehran International Airport and check-in for your prearranged flight.
