Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Arusha

  Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport and transfer to your hotel in Arusha.
  Meet your guide for a pre-trek briefing, equipment check, and final preparations.
  Rest, relax, and acclimatize to the altitude. Enjoy a welcome dinner at the hotel.

• Day 2 : Arusha to Momella Gate to Miriakamba Hut

  After breakfast, drive to Momella Gate (1,500m) for registration and permits.
  Begin the trek through montane forest, ascending gradually towards Miriakamba Hut (2,514m).
  Enjoy the rich biodiversity of the forest and the first views of Mount Meru.
  Settle into the hut, rest, and acclimatize for the night.

• Day 3 : Miriakamba Hut to Saddle Hut

  Wake up early for breakfast and continue the ascent through the forest.
  Trek through heath and moorland, ascending to Saddle Hut (3,570m).
  Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and Mount Meru's crater.
  Rest and acclimatize at the hut, preparing for the summit push.

• Day 4 : Saddle Hut to Socialist Peak to Miriakamba Hut

  Begin the summit attempt in the early hours, aiming to reach Socialist Peak (4,566m).
  Trek through alpine desert terrain, ascending steeply towards the summit.
  Reach the summit of Mount Meru, enjoying breathtaking views of Kilimanjaro and the surrounding landscape.
  Descend back to Saddle Hut for a rest and then continue down to Miriakamba Hut.
  Spend the night at Miriakamba Hut, celebrating your summit success.

• Day 5 : Miriakamba Hut to Momella Gate - Arusha

  Descend from Miriakamba Hut to Momella Gate, marking the end of your trek.
  Receive your summit certificates and bid farewell to your guides and porters.
  Transfer back to your hotel in Arusha for a well-deserved shower and celebration.
  Spend the evening reminiscing about your Mount Meru adventure and enjoying a delicious dinner.

  Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and relax before your departure.
