Package Overview

All our itinerary component is flexible and can be modified to suit your interest and preference. Our standard is usually using 3 star hotel with standard AC transportation, but if you wish to have higher standard of accommodation and transportation, we are more than happy to provide the suggestion except in some remote area where only available standard transportation and non star hotel for example in Borneo, and Papua

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Lombok Airport - Sembalun Village

  Upon arrival at Lombok airport, our local staff will pick you up at the airport and then you will directly transfer for approximately 3-4 hours to Sembalun village. Sembalum village lies on the eastern slopes of Mount Rinjani. We stay overnight in local guesthouse.
• Day 2 : Sembalun - Plawangan Sembalun

  After breakfast at the guesthouse, we begin our trek to basecamp III or also called Plawangan Sembalun. We will walk through beautiful savannah of Rinjani and will set the campsite at the crater rim of Plawangan Sembalun. From this campsite, the panoramic views of the crater lake of Segare Anak and Sembalun are spectacular. When the weather is good the sunset view will be breathtaking. We will rest early after dinner as we have a very early start tomorrow.
• Day 3 : Plawangan Sembalun - Summit - Segara Anak Lake

  We will wake up at 2 am, and after a snack and hot drink we will start our trek to the summit of Mount Rinjani (3726m). It is a steady ascent to the summit, from the summit we will watch the spectacular sunrise with views across to Bali, Mt Agung and Sumbawa, the crater lake below, and the island of Lombok stretching even further below.
  
  After some rest and taking pictures we return to our campsite for a late breakfast, then continue to the formation of the ‘new volcano” mount of Segara Anak lake (2.010 m asl). Here you have the opportunity for some fishing or you can have a soak in the natural hot springs, which are believed to have healing powers. Our tents will be pitched on its shores for the night.
• Day 4 : Lake Segara Anak and Trek to Crater Rim and Forest Camp

  This morning has been set aside for a rest day at the Lake. You will have time to spend the morning exploring, relaxing, swimming in the cool waters of the lake or soaking in the hot, natural springs, believed to have healing powers. In the afternoon we will trek and ascend to the Crater Rim of Plawangan Senaru (2640m) and then descend to our overnight camp at Forest Camp (Pos 3). Overnight tents.
• Day 5 : Forest Camp - Senaru Village - Airport

  This morning we descend down the long trail to Senaru village, passing thick tropical forests rich in flora, bird life and a variety of butterflies. You might see orchids and, if lucky, the rare black ebony leaf monkey, known locally as lutung. Lunch served en route. The trek ends atRinjani Trek Center at the road head in Senaru. From Senaru you will directly transfer to the airport. Please take the flight after 6 pm from Lombok.
