Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi to Manali (585 Kms/14 Hrs):

  On arrival at Delhi Airport / Railway Station, you will be warmly greeted and welcomed by the Footloose Holidays representative and from here you will head towards Manali, a beautiful getaway town set in the mountains in the state of Himachal Pradesh. While enjoying the picturesque view all along the journey, you may en route visit Pandho Dam built on the Beas River and Hanogi Mata Temple. On reaching your destination, check-in at your hotel and spend a pleasant evening at the hotel.

• Day 2 : Manali (Local tour begins)

  Following the sumptuous breakfast, it is time to explore places in and around Manali, like Hadimba, an ancient cave temple, surrounded by a cedar forest to enliven your spirits. Your next destination is another temple called Manu temple. Your list of must visit should include Vashisht Bath, Van Vihar and Tibetan Monastery, witnessing how Buddhism has become integral part of this region. Enjoy the evening taking a stroll and shopping at the local market at Mall Road. Rejuvenate and relax at the hotel with gastronomic dinner and overnight stay. Also brace yourself to revive adventure in your life with this enchanting trip the next day.

• Day 3 : Rohtang Pass (100 Km round tour):

  It is time to explore new heights with the visit to this high mountain pass called Rohtang Pass, connecting Kullu Valley to Lahaul and Spiti Valleys. Rohtang pass is 51km from Manali, situated at the height of 3978 mtrs. Well known for its unpredictable blizzards, this pass enjoys the reputation of being the oldest and the most frequented pass in the region. It also offers a panoramic view of the mountains, making one realise the grandeur of Himalayan ranges. This pass is worth the visit, adding to so much fun being surrounded by the snow clad mountains. After coming back, sit back and enjoy the yummilicious food at the hotel and a good overnight sleep in the lap of refreshing backgrounds.

• Day 4 : Manali to Chandigarh (320 Kms/10 Hrs):

  It is a beautiful feeling getting up to watch the rising sun in the hills and enjoying your breakfast amidst the stunning beauty of nature but post breakfast it is time to check-out from the hotel and depart for Chandigarh, also known as City Beautiful. En route, you may visit Kullu Vaishno Devi Temple, a famous tourist attraction located on the banks of Beas River. You can also have a look at Kullu shawl weaving industry. Chandigarh is surely going to hold your attention as it was the first planned city designed by a French Architect. The city got its name after the goddess of power, Chandi, whose temple Chandimandir is located in the city. On arrival at Chandigarh, check-in at the hotel where delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay await you.

• Day 5 : Chandigarh to Delhi (250 Kms/5 Hrs):

  Begin your next day with breakfast and proceed to check-out from the hotel. Before leaving this amazing city, enjoy some sightseeing of the famous landmarks of Chandigarh by visiting the Rose Garden, boasting of some beautiful and rare species of rose plants and flowers. Coming to Chandigarh and not visiting Rock Garden, an unusual and unique garden created singlehandedly by an artist from all the waste products. Situated close by is Sukhna Lake, a manmade lake which adds to the serene and peaceful nature of this beautiful city. It is time to say goodbye and depart for Delhi. On arrival at Delhi you will be dropped at Railway station / Airport for your onward journey.
