​Reporting time 7.30 am at the Intercity terminal, 118 Bealey Ave (between Colombo St and Durham St intersections). Departs at 8.00 am EVERY DAY
Additional Nights – Available to any destination of your choosing. You can add an extra night for a competitive rate. If you would like to extend your tour, please advise your consultant when making your booking. We definitely recommend that you spend extra nights prior to and after your tour to explore the gateway destinations, as these provide many unique attractions worth going the extra mile for.

Flexible Itineraries
All our New Zealand coach tours can be adapted to your individual specifications. If a tour does not entirely suit you, we can provide a personalised coach touring holiday that fits you like a glove. All you need to do is let us know what you want to do, and we will organise it for you.

Transfers Included
Transfers are included between your accommodation and transport on the Tour. If you need to we can book your pre-tour arrangements or you can make your own way to the Tour departure location.

Daily Departures
The tours operate every day and use routine train, ferry and motor coach services. All hotel, motel accommodation, transportation and essential sightseeing are pre-arranged for you.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Christchurch - Glaciers

  Aboard the renowned TranzAlpine train cross the Canterbury Plains to the mountains, where Arthur’s Pass and Otira Tunnel lead to the West Coast. From Greymouth continue by coach along the bush clad, coastal plain.
  
  Stay 2 nights in Fox or Franz Josef Glacier townships.
• Day 2 : At Glaciers

  A whole day is available for optional excursions on the Glacier for bush walks, or simply soak up the beauty of snow-capped mountains.
• Day 3 : Glaciers - Wanaka

  Continue south into dense rain forest broken by rugged vistas. Reach Lake Wanaka in the early afternoon.
  
  Stay 1 night in Wanaka.
• Day 4 : Wanaka - Queenstown

  A free morning in this beautiful resort town. Continue this afternoon through the rugged Kawerau Gorge to Queenstown.
  
  Stay 3 nights in Queenstown.
• Day 5 : Queenstown - Milford Sound - Queestown

  A full day taking in the wonders of Milford and Mitre Peak, while enjoying lunch aboard a Milford Sound Cruise, returning to Queenstown by evening.
• Day 6 : At Queenstown

  Today is free for you to enjoy this fabulous alpine resort. We have included the Skyline Gondola in your tour. There are dozens of optional activities from thrilling jet boat rides to leisurely lake cruises, 4WD safaris and bungy jumping.
• Day 7 : Queenstown - Mt Cook - Christchurch

  Travel through the Kawarau Gorge to the Lindis Pass. Cross the spectacular Mackenzie Country bounded by the Southern Alps to the glacial lakes and into the Mount Cook National Park. Arrive in Christchurch late afternoon. Tour ends on arrival early evening.
