After passing through the Sagarmatha Park entrance (1,000rs for overseas visitors), the trail passes through the village of Jorsale and then along the river. You will cross two bridges before beginning the steep ascent to Namche which is a suitable place for Stage 1 acclimatization. Be aware that there are no tea houses or lodges on this path, so ensure that you have ample water to get you to the top. In addition, you are now heading into a high altitude area, so take it easy. Even the fittest people are prone to altitude sickness.

Day 5 : Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870m, 5 hours, 10km)
The first half of the walk is fairly simple and easy. After a pleasant walk of 2 hours, you come to a small place at Shanasa. Here you can see the colorful Danphe pheasant, which is the national bird of Nepal and might also get a chance to have a look at the musk- deer and also the Himalayan Thar, which is a mountain goat that looks like an antelope. After a strenuous walk for an hour in the end, you would reach the religious Buddhist entrance which lies just before Tengboche.
Day 6 : Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360m, 6 hours, 11km)
Today’s trek begins through a rich forest full of birch, juniper, fir, rhododendron etc; to arrive at lovely Deboche, 3,650 meters. Here you get the best views of Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Everest, Nuptse and Lhotse. From here, the walk is mostly up-hill and continues to be so until you reach a large mani- wall gate. From here the way to Dingboche is divided into two paths. One of the paths towards Dingboche also goes through Pangboche. You can take this route to see more views and natural beauty.
Day 7 : Acclimatization Day/Rest Day - Dingboche
Dingboche is your stage 2 acclimatisation halt. It is a lovely green mountainous place. You could also opt for a 4 hour stroll to Chucking, 4,730 m which has some of the best views of mountain ranges around. We can take a small hike to get a view of worlds three top mountain peaks, Mount Lhotse, Mount Makalu and Mount Cho Yu. Besides these, you will see plenty of peaks and mountain ranges.
Day 8 : Dingboche to Lobuche (4940m, 6-7hours, 11-12km)
Trek today will give you some excellent views of Mt. Tawache, Ama Dablam, Pokalde and the great wall of Nuptse. Don't miss the last Tea houses at Thugla from where it’s a 3 hrs of tough trek to Lobuche. You will enjoy this.
Day 9 : Lobuche to Gorakshep (5170m) - Everest Base Camp (5364m) - Gorakshep
Today is the big day when you would be at feet of the EVEREST. In a couple of hours down the valley passing moraines and glacial ponds you arrive at Gorakshep. And then following the lead sherpa begins a strenuous and slow ascent to reach your mission - the Everest Base Camp. Soak in the amazing views of the Khumbu ice fall and may be meet the summiteers expeditions if you are there in expeditions season. We then take a few pics and trek back to Gorakshep for the night stay.
Day 10 : Gorakshep to Kala Patthar (5,545m) - Dingboche (4,360m, 7-8 hours, 15km)
Today we wish to take a great view of the Everest and that is the reason we take a trek to Kalapatthar. It’s a strenuous and steep climb, but then the Mt. Everest views from here are the best and upclose you would ever have.
Day 11 : Dingboche to Namche Bazaar (3,440m, 7-8 hours, 13-15km)
Having achieved your mission, its an easy trek time now. You mostly have downslope walks and of course much easier and relaxed. You trek a long bust easy day to be at Namche bazaar. Imagine you were here a week back going up - so much has changed. You could go around the town and enjoy some local fare and may be pick up some souvenirs.
Day 12 : Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,800m, 6 hours, 16km)
Its a simple and easy trek from Namche Bazaar to Phakding. We pass the Hillary Suspension Bridge and a few local villages to arrive in Lukla. This would be your last day in a Tea House. You have done and achieved, what thousands only dream and plan. Celebrate this moment with your team and staff - together you all made it!
Day 13 : Fly to Kathmandu
Well, as a ‘winner - been there, done that’ you would now take an early morning flight to Kathmandu. See if you could manage a window seat. And, don’t be surprised as the weather often plays truant - and flight schedules do go awry at times. You may have to extend your stay! May be not! In Kathmandu, you will be received at airport and taken to your hotel. You have most of the day to do Kathmandu bucket list. And believe me - you will fall short of time.
Day 14 : Kathmandu (Buffer Day)
