Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival - Mumbai

  Arrival at Mumbai's International Airport. Our representative will receive you with warm welcome and assist you to transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
• Day 2 : Mumbai

  After breakfast full day visit of Mumbai city which includes Gateway of India-is a monument built during the British Raj in Mumbai, India. It is located on the waterfront in the Apollo Bunder area, South Mumbai and overlooks the Arabian Sea. The structure is a basalt arch, 26 metres high. Later visit Dhobi Ghat- A unique feature of Mumbai, the dhobi is a traditional laundryman, who will collect your dirty linen, wash it, and return it neatly pressed to your doorstep. All for a pittance. The "laundries" are called "ghats": row upon row of concrete wash pens, each fitted with its own flogging stone.
  
  Head towards Mahalaxmi Temple- is a popular holy site as Mahalaxmi is the goddess of wealth. It is situated at one end of Breach Candy -- a trendy residential and shopping area, now known as B. Desai Road., visit of Hanging Garden- Perched at the top of Malabar Hill, on its western side, just opposite the Kamala Nehru Park, these terraced gardens, also known as Ferozeshah Mehta Gardens, provide lovely sunset views over the Arabian Sea. The park was laid out in the early 1880s over Bombay's main reservoir, some say to cover the water from the potentially contaminating activity of the nearby Towers of Silence. Visit Prince of Wales Museum-(Closed on Mondays) Barely a stone's throw from the Gateway of India is the Prince of Wales Museum, a magnificent, but somewhat strange structure, built in a confluence of Gothic and Moorish styles, and crowned by a sparkling white dome. Overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 3 : Mumbai - Elephanta Caves - Mumbai

  Morning visit of Elephanta Caves (Closed on Mondays)- The cave is designed to accommodate Hindu ritual of circumambulating the cave, and encountering a number of images related to Shiva, in a great mandala. One of the major attractions of Maharashtra. Take the photographs in the complex of Elephanta Island (Please note it can be visited between (10 AM-2 PM only). Later return to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 4 : Mumbai-Cochin (Flight,12:15/14:15 Hrs)

  After breakfast you will be dropped at the airport to catch the flight for Cochin. In Cochin you will be dropped at the hotel. Rest of the day at your leisure to explore the local bazars. Overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 5 : Cochin Tour

  After a relaxed breakfast have sightseeing of Cochin city which includes the visit Mattencherry, Chinese Fishing net, Jewish Synagogue and Dutch palace. Later visit St. Francisco Church. Evening enjoy the Kathakali Dance show. Overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 6 : Cochin - Munnar (150 Kms/3-4 Hrs)

  Morning at your leisure. Later leave for Munnar. Enroute we will be enjoying the scenic beauty with marvelous waterfalls, high mountains and low flying clouds passing through. Upon arrival check-in hotel for overnight stay.
• Day 7 : Munnar

  Munnar is one of the most popular Hill Stations in India. After breakfast we will visit the world's highest tea estates spread like a green carpet over the hundreds of kilometers. Most managers will even allow you to stroll among the bushes. Later we will leave for Eravikulam Park. Here we will be spotting the endangered Nilgiri Tahr (ibex) that can be found in numbers in this area. Overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 8 : Munnar - Thekkady ( 180 Kms/ 3-4 Hrs)

  After breakfast drive to Thekkady. On arrival check into the hotel. Evening free at your leisure to explore the spice plantation and the local market. Overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 9 : Thekkady-Alleppey ( 180 Kms/ 3-4 Hrs)

  Morning have an experience of boat - cruising in the river Periyar and watch the wild lives. You will be surrounded by the Elephants, Deer, Wild boars and many other birds. Return to the hotel for the breakfast.
  
  Later drive to Alleppey. On arrival embark to the Houseboat. Enjoy the traditional meal (Lunch) on the floating Deck. Have a look on Paddy fields, greenery of surrounding, calm water waves of the canals etc. Dinner & overnight stay at the houseboat.

• Day 10 : Alleppey - Cochin - Departure

  After breakfast disembarks from the Houseboat. Drive towards Cochin. Proceed to the International Airport to catch the flight for onward journey.
